It’s OnlyBleyFriday and Christmas is nearing us – the season to be merry and all that. But sadly that means it’s getting colder outside but no need to worry – just get you and your friends to gather round the warm bosom of Scott in the afternoons to keep you warm.
Scott’s been warming the heart of the nation however this week as he’s been spreading the love with Random Acts of Kindness. On Wednesday, we heard from a woman who was generously given money by someone who she had never met before in a time of need, and on Thurday, Scott surprised a young girl who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer with a call from her favourite TV characters – The Tweenies!

It’s also ‘Rate My Listener Pet Week’ week so there’s a lot of girls with their pussies and men with their cockerels flying about on Scott’s homepage so it’s all good. Check out a pic of today’s RML down the review…
Anyway, onto Friday’s action…
Scott kicked off the show expressing his delight in seeing Take That in the studio next to him when they were on Colin and Edith’s show earlier today and reminded us all that it’s Children In Need tonight – so give all your pennies to Uncle Terry (Wogan of course). Scott also played the official Children In Need track for this year – Liberty X’s remake of ‘Make This A Night to Remember’. Although it’s for Children In Need, it’s very wiffy and reminds me of Harvesters and Bingo ads – not good!
Remember yesterday when Molly, the sweet little girl with cancer, was on the phone? Well, Scott gave us an update on her and she’s expected to be out of hospital tomorrow.
Tickets to Radio’s Live Chart Show were given away to Gabby from Stratford just after 4:30 and then Scott put his detective-hat on to bust someone.
Rights, Joanne wanted Scott to bust her flatmate, Liam, who claims he’s in a band in an attempt to pull the ladies. He’d make up stories that he’d just got back from a gig and says he’s going on tour soon. Zane Lowe was present to help bust Liam and good ol’ Zane asked Liam if he could send him some music for the show. Liam admitted to Zane that he made the band up just to pull… busted!
