First of all I’d like to congratulate Scott for picking up a Loaded Lafta this week – keep up the good work!
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past week, you’d of course know that Scott has been covering for Chris Moyles, whose having a whale of a time on a mystery beach somewhere. Rate My Listener has turned into Rate My Celeb Look-A-Likes with such celebrities as Davina McCall and Will Young up for rating! Scott’s dug up some features such as ‘You’ve Been Busted’ and the ‘On Hold Game’ this week, as well as introducing us with a new short-lived feature called ‘Scott’s School Dinners’. Unfortunately, despite running it on Monday and Tuesday (plus a healthier Wednesday), the team were forced to abandon it because of some idiots out there spoiling little kiddies’ kebab-eating fun. How will they know how to ditch the salad into gutters on the side of the road? Crazy…
Also, after Scott was forced to hear his mate’s sister’s diary in the pub on Sunday, he decided to dig-up Laura’s old diary entries thanks to her sister, Mary. Read on to find out more!
Meanwhile, in other news, Scott defeated Chappers in Radio 1’s Second Annual Conker Championships – hosted by Radio 1’s Colin and Edith. He then progressed onto the semi-final, where he lost to Joel off of JK and Joel.

Scott’s nan rang up the local paper in Southampton yesterday because they did not include Scott in the article about the Lafta awards but mentioned Moyles ending up in 2nd place. So, the paper will go to Scott’s nan’s house next week for an exclusive interview. In other news, Scott dumped his hairdresser by phone!
Laura's Diary
The first instalment of today’s Laura’s Diary, as read by her sister Mary, involved Laura getting ready to go to a party where the lovely Jamie would be present. She said she’d dance really close to the DJ so she can be seen by Jamie. Did she catch his eye? Read on to find out more!

In today’s Rate My Listener Celeb Look-A-Likes, Vanessa from Portsmouth is apparently a dead-ringer for Big Brother’s Kate Lawler, but I personally think she’s more Carol Vorderman. The On Hold Game met The Takeaway Game just after 8pm as Scott and the team put a finance company on hold with several other people on the line (if that makes sense) – just go to our message board and download the clip! Very funny! And I got a mention from Scott just before the news wishing me a happy birthday for Sunday! Yey! Thanks to Jono and everyone on the message board who sorted that out and Scott and the team!
Laura's Diary
The part of Laura’s Diary was read out just after the 8:30 news and brought the climax to what really was a cliff-hanger. In this final reading of the week, Laura got an A in her technology project. The party didn’t go according to plan – Sarah got hammered and was sick everywhere! Jamie didn’t talk to Laura for the whole night and cried in the toilet. However, Andy was her saviour and they eventually got off on a bridge (gooooooooooood moooooooooornin). Can you love two people at the same time? Andy or Jamie – Andy or Jamie? Scott’s new game, Situation Vacant was played after 9 – where Scott advertises an obscure job and we listen to the fools who applied! Today’s job description was thus: “New TV channel based in Bazaar requires a cameraman. XXX TV will produce adult entertainment 24/7. Do you have the stamina to be behind the camera? Call Tinker McGuire on blah blah.” The people of Surrey flooded in with pervy applications.

Today’s bout was between Ross from Alton and Debbie from Coventry for such prizes as a ‘Scruffy Winnie the Pooh Knitting Kit’, ‘Iraq’s Most Wanted Playing Cards’, and an ‘Elvis Air Freshener’.
