…..niiiiiiiiiiiiice! Game-show king Bruce Forsyth has been persuading Scott to play his grandson’s band all week, calling the show from a boat on Italy on Tuesday. His campaign to get it played even reached the Sun newspaper on Wednesday and finally agreed to appear on today’s show! Read on to found out what happened when Scott met Brucie!

Meanwhile on the Scott Mills show this week, YOUR chance to date Lovely Laura is increased as there’s now a form to fill in on Scott’s pages on Radio 1. All you have to do is provide a few details and your reason to why you’d wish to date her. The team will also be hosting X Factor-style auditions round the UK soon for One Night with Laura. Keep your ears peeled next week. She describes herself as “fun lovin, sexy, flirtatious, daring” and of course, “flexible and versatile”
Star Phone
The new Star Phone was handed to Charlotte Church on Wednesday, coming into the studio after visiting Moyles earlier that day. Scott checked up on her on Thursday but hadn’t seen anyone famous just yet. She was at a Tesco store in Cardiff at the time and was eventually swamped by fans. Brucie Bonus
Brucie rang in late at 4pm but eventually got into the studio just before quarter-past. Brucie immediately asked, “Who is the dirty boy here?” and then complained about the price and hassle of calling Scott from a lake in Italy. They got down to business with Bruce wanting Scott to finally play his grandson’s band.

Brucie was then bombarded with txts and emails from people (all of whom he remembers of course) who’ve met Bruce.
Flirt Divert
Scott introduced Flirt Divert to Bruce, who loves the idea, and questioned why victim No.1 of today’s Flirt Divert broke their car seat. Today’s Rate My Listener Lucy, had a chat to Brucie and her ideal man is David Beckham. You can find her online.
Brucie start to get agitated at 4:45 and demanded Scott to play his grandson’s band so he can get home to watch the golf. A classic Bruce Forsyth Celebrity Call was then replayed in his honour instead! Afterwards, a Bruce FAQ took place with callers asking such questions as “How did you meet your wife – she’s so fit”?
However, the moment arrived and the track was finally played just before 5pm. They’re very much a rock band and sounded quite decent.
