The Bromley parade eventually arrives
Scott switches on Bromley’s Christmas lights after spending a very long time filling on stage while the parade slowly travels along the high street. He thanks the Snow Queen for her performance and Mayor Ian for an extensive conversation, although Ian refuses to let him try on the mayoral chain.
With Chris away, Scott turns the whole programme loose for a large Whooo Game. Red-eye photographs, ringing once for a call back, inflatable neon furniture, free toys in cereal boxes and Charlie Dimmock “free-boobing in the garden” lead an exceptionally strong field.
Sharon needs a notebook
Scott decides to send Sharon Osbourne a notebook after another weekend of missing names on The X Factor. She cannot remember the title of the theme from Titanic, misnames contestants and has previous form for forgetting the names of acts while voting them out.
The programme suggests she write everything down on the paper already sitting in front of her. Simon Cowell meanwhile supplies a future Innuendo Bingo clip by telling Ryan Lawrie that he has repeatedly been “in the bottom”.
Rinder and Brendon report in
Judge Rinder is still enjoying Strictly after the elimination of his friend Greg Rutherford. He accepts that Ed Balls’s popularity does not feel unfair and rehearses at a school while insisting that the competition remains an open year.
Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco then plays Real or No Real after the Live Lounge. His offline playlist includes Frank Sinatra and The Weeknd, but he correctly rejects a claim that Drake left a phone in a gym with “I Write Sins Not Tragedies” at the top of its workout list.
