Scott and Chris enjoy the brutal idea that unwanted celebrities are recycled into new figures, but the story is false: Louis’s model was still in storage and available for his return.
A food-waste app selling restaurant surplus for a few pounds is real, to Chris’s delight. Deborah Meaden’s claim that she has never cooked a meal is also judged real, because her husband handles the cooking. A listener beats Scott by 20 points to 10.
Eva’s voice slows down
Catherine Tyldesley discusses Eva Price’s latest Coronation Street drama and the prospect of the character’s first proper catfight. She then wears headphones that replay her voice after a tiny delay, disrupting the brain’s ability to form normal sentences.
Catherine calls a co-star and attempts to arrange lunch without revealing the Speech Jammer. Her words stretch, pitch changes and she sounds increasingly drunk, but the actor plays along and agrees to meet. By the end, Catherine is crying with laughter. She also discusses her music and new single “Rise”, proving much more coherent once the delay is removed.
