24 March 2011: Beccy fills her Royal Wedding sticker book

Beccy fills her Royal Wedding sticker book

Beccy was back on Breakfast with a Royal Wedding sticker album and an enthusiasm Scott thought had reached obsessive levels. By 6.34am she was already placing stickers while everyone else tried to start the show.

She knew details about Kate Middleton’s hair, diet and styling routine, then admitted that she searched for her online once or twice a day. Scott concluded that this was rather more than a casual interest.

Chris was set a ukulele task and confidently said anyone could play one. The claim quickly became another opportunity for Scott to test whether Chris’s optimism was justified.

The Big Weekend announcement was still close enough that Scott worried somebody would say the location too early. The team had written it down, talked around it and generally made keeping a secret harder than it needed to be.

Dear Scott also featured advice for a listener whose attempts at talking to girls were not going well. The programme’s advice was deliberately dubious, but it gave Chris a chance to recognise himself in the instructions.
