Scott woke to a message from David Hasselhoff, whom he had not spoken to for several years.
The Hoff congratulated Scott on getting married and mentioned that his own wife Hayley was also Welsh.
Scott was delighted that their unlikely friendship had been revived.
He remembered travelling to the Baywatch beach with Hasselhoff, attending a Knight Rider car convention, visiting the star’s Hollywood Walk of Fame plaque and introducing him to his mother.
Scott immediately invited him back onto the programme.
