Danny Jones files a complaint
Danny Jones called after hearing that Michael had rejected McFly’s Star Girl during the first Birthday Game.
He was particularly offended because Michael admitted that he had once displayed a picture of Danny on his wall.
Danny confirmed that Star Girl had been used to wake astronauts on the International Space Station after a fan campaign, although he could not explain exactly how the opportunity had come about.
The Speedmates prize is revealed
Scott replayed the tiebreak from the first Speedmates and revealed what Richie Anderson had chosen for the Breakfast Show’s 7.33.
Richie selected Girl Band Bangers, leading to a run that included Sugababes, Girls Aloud and Fuzzbox.

The Birthday Game: Catherine
Catherine from Norland, near Halifax, turned 40.
She had celebrated with friends and family at the weekend and asked guests to make charitable donations rather than buy presents.
Two friends nevertheless gave her an unusual gift: a framed piece of carpet from the Acapulco nightclub in Halifax. The venue had sold sections of its carpet after 26 years, and Catherine’s piece came from grid square K11 near the bar and dance floor.
Catherine shared her birthday with Apple chief executive Tim Cook, Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen and actor Penn Badgley.
She faced three number-one songs in the Birthday Game, continuing the launch week pattern of contestants risking the spinner rather than accepting the first offer.
