Welcome back! I have an old blueyonder email address that logs me into stuff from 2006. Blueyonder is long gone and so is that email. Think it's still linked to my neglected MySpace that I haven't touched for many years.
I don't really do politics publicly, but I hope you are correct on them losing power. However I expect the mainstream media to start peddling the tory narrative soon, in the election buildup. The unthinkable shouldn't happen however nothing surprises me in the UK anymore.
Thanks for the welcome back guys ❤️

Welcome back! Did you forget your password?
Like a typical old person yes. I also no longer have access to the email address on the account either ?

Last time I was on this forum the Tories had only just got into power and now it's slipping away from them. I told them to wake me up when this happened, didn't think it would be 13 years lost to hibernation...
Now this website is almost as old as I was when I first joined, wow! I'm now 40 ?
I wonder if any of the other "Oldies"/OGs will make surprise reappearances?
China is the traditional 20th anniversary gift, but what use is that to any of us?
I'm glad to see Jono and DC are still here, I've actually missed you guys.

Bless him. I'm just staying loyal Jono He was robbed on Strictly, robbed!

Even more saddening is the fact her father and two brothers were also killed, her father executed for allegedly conspiring to kill a political opponent and her two brothers, one being shot dead in 1996 and the other found murdered in 1985.

And then the US will go in and do what it does best: kill everything that moves, flatten the country and create even more chaos and disorder than existed before.

I remember her appearances on Question Time too. She was very articulate, a highly-skilled and inspiring politician.
RIP.

There were an astonishing 31 million prescriptions issued by GPs for antidepressants in 2007. Why? Perhaps it's something to do with being overworked, underpaid and treated with little gratitude by employers. 12-16 days off work per year wouldn't even make a dint in trying to eradicate a problem that costs the economy billions in lost productivity each year, but it would be a start.

New series begins Tuesday January 1st. 16 episodes sounds a bit crazy, but I'm sure they'll pull it off somehow...

When's that on, Serin?
Last I heard it was going to be 'early in the New Year' before Jim comes back. It's never been tried before in any soap. How June Brown will be able to remember a full-script of dialogue at her age I don't know. She's said before she struggles sometimes, but nevertheless, I can't wait to see it.
EastEnders was much better than Corrie, however Corrie had the best comedy. But both failed to really make a big deal out of Christmas at the end.Yeah from the bits I've seen, Corrie has the best comedy moments. Heather on the weight-loss machine and the vibrator joke were funny moments in EastEnders though. But I think EastEnders comes up with more intricate nigh convoluted characters and storylines with sparkly scripts that nevertheless grip you.
During my non-watching period what happened to Deano & Chelsea? Where is Chelsea and why is Ringo in jail? They lied to the police, framing Sean for the attack on Patrick, when in fact it was Craig. Sean went to prison, then it came to light that they had lied, Sean was freed, and Deano and Chelsea were jailed for perverting the course of justice.

EastEnders drew 13.9m viewers last night, beating Coronation Street which only managed to assemble 9.6m.
It's on top-form again and I can't wait for this special one-hander episode featuring only Dot.

I've actually been able to see this for the first time. It's quite surreal seeing them 'at work', almost demystifying to an extent.
-
Hello stranger!
Haha, you like him then?
Heeey, yeah he's lovely. Light relief from grumpy Chappers!

Ooh, make Matt Willis permanent.
