All I was saying was that it's a shame Aled is only taking over for 3 months initially, I would prefer to listen to him over Kelly and I'm sure there are many other listeners who feel the same.

Does it mean we're going to have to endure passively inhaling potentially dangerous fumes in pubs again?
I dont think this is the case as the electronic cigarette produces a water vapour rather than smoke.
I guess time will tell if the electronic cigarette will beat the ban, at the end of the day it sounds healthier for those non smokers as it doesnt sound like they are likely to inhale anything harmful, I guess time will tell if this really is the case.

It's only temporary and at a few branches. Basically a publicity stunt, which is clearly working.
heck of an expensive publicity stunt at £18M :confused:, I really dont see why they need waste so much money re-branding, why not simple advertise on TV/radio and promote their pasta dishes instead of their pizzas, it'd probably gain you the same amount of advertising but for a lower price. It all just seems a large waste of money to re-brand a company "temporarily" in my opinion.

Oi! That's not always the case and a bit of a generalisation to be fair. I go to the US quite a lot as I have family there and the Americans rarely have difficulty understanding me. In fact they love my accent...
No offence Neil, I don't know if you have a Glasgow accent or not and I hope this doesn't sound like a rant but Glasgow accents get bad press and it annoys me, we don't all speak like 'Pizza Ned'. As with most places there are people who speak clearly and those who don't.
No offence taken Kirsty, I dont have any problem with Glasgow accents as I am engaged to somebody from Renfrew
. At the end of the day everybody has different accents wherever they may come from as I have to try and understand many foreign dialects with working in a college. -

Are the English accents a big hit over there then? I lived in the states 10 years ago and only ever got the piss taken out of me
for some strange reason the American's have a thing for the Scottish accents :|, to be fair though they do find Glaswegian rather difficult to understand though

Not quite sure about them to be honest. Scott looks like he's from another country and Chappers doesnt look anything like that imo.

Although it was literally only a glimpse.
I wonder how long Scott actually spent in make up before the scene?, he was barely in the show for 5 seconds.

As much as I liked the Original series of the Crystal Maze I am not sure whether the new series will be as good as the original series. Still reakon I will give the first show a watch to see if it's worth bothering with.
