  1. Problem 1. Isnt it 10% over the national speed limit they can do you?, I would have told them to go foxtrot oscar and catch some "real" criminals.

Problem 2. Wouldnt be the Alternator by any chance would it?, It is the part that sends the power around the car isnt it? (if the battery has an eye on it check that it is red/green. Green means Battery fine, Red means Battery Kapoot and ready for bin)

I wouldnt back chat a copper, its a big no no. I need to keep a clean licence!

And i have no idea whats wrong with the car, im not mechanically minded - i mean i love cars to look at and to drive, but i couldnt fix 1. My dad is very mechanically minded, fixes cars in his spare time. I will soon know tomorrow anyway, im very annoyed about this, and if the vauxhall guys fook me about, they'll know about it! This aint doing!

Sounds like a crap day then Azza :(

I'm off to bed soon because I'm shattered because everyone else was being really noisy last night and kept me up late.

Here's a lame joke for you Azza, and anyone else Irish:

Two Irishmen came across a sign that reads: "Tree Fellers Wanted"

"Here Paddy, would you look at this" said one of them, "What a pity there only the two of us!"

Ya to say my day was pretty crap is a huge understatement.

loving the joke btw, its sooo cheesy!

  2. I am feeling bley terrible!

Problem #1: It was 1pm and i decided that i wanted a new LCD telly for my room, so off i goon my journey to the Currys store, Driving down the motorway to belfast, next thing i sear sirens behind me, yep! The rozzers! They pulled me in

Cop: "Do you have any idea how fast you we're going sir?"

    Me: "Urm... sorry no officer"

Cop: "You where travelling at 72mph, do you know the national speed limit for motorways?"

Me: "Oh sorry mate, yeah its 70"

The convo went on for another min and then he decided to let me go, how fookin relieved was i? My parents would have killed me!

Problem #2: 4pm, I had a good look around the currys store, ordered my telly, looked in a few other shops, then came back to my car, press the button on my key to open the car, it wont open! So i press it again the hazard lights still wont flash, i try the door handle, wont open. I then press the button on the key again, Horray! it finally opens the car. i get in, and press the radio power button on the dash to get Mr Mills on, nothing happens, i press it again, still nothing happens. Im getting sorta paranoid at this point, then i put the key into the ignition and turn it... COUGH COUGH and then silence. Im really freaking out at this point! WTF is happening to my car?! I twist the key again, COUGH COUGH goes the engine and about a million lights flash repeatedly on my dials. Im taking a psycho at this point. My car is DEAD!!!! Im stranded in the middle of Tescos car park, 20miles from my home and my car is DEAD, ok i reach for the mobile and phone my dad

Me: Urm... hello dad? my car isnt starting, im going crazy here

    Dad: WTF!?

Me: Urm... can u rescue me?? im stranded in tescos carpark in belfast

Dad: Whats wrong with the car?

Me: I dunno, u gonna come and help me lol?

Dad: Right ok, with ya in 30mins

So im just sitting there in a daze in the car waiting for dad, 30mins turns into 2hours and im going demented! Dad finally arrives with a new car battery and jump leads... He tries his best under the bonnet and Nothing... its no use, he cant understand whats wrong. We have to resort to phoning his mate who has a big car trailer, another hour and he arrives with the trailor and we put my car onto the trailer and drive it home. Right now my car is sitting in my drive way, lifeless. Its going straight back to the Vauxhall garage tomorrow and i will be demanding that they fix it immediately. Its a 4month old car! this shouldnt be happening

    I am not happy:-X

  3. Aspartame:

While it is well-known that aspartame contains phenylalanine and is unsafe for those born with phenylketonuria, research has also indicated more recently that aspartame can be implicated in other public health issues and holds serious health risks.

In 1995, FDA Epidemiology Branch Chief, Thomas Wilcox reported that aspartame complaints represented 75% of all reports of adverse reactions to substances in the food supply from 1981 to 1995. [1] Concerns about aspartame frequently revolve around symptoms and health conditions that are allegedly caused by the sweetener. The 92 health effects reported to the FDA by patients and doctors are: abdominal pain, anxiety attacks, arthritis, asthma, asthmatic reactions, bloating/edema, blood sugar control problems (hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia), brain cancer (Pre-approval studies in animals), breathing difficulties, burning eyes or throat, burning urination, inability to think clearly, chest pains, chronic cough, chronic fatigue, confusion, death, depression, diarrhea, dizziness, excessive thirst or hunger, fatigue, feeling “unrealâ€, flushing of face, hair loss (baldness) or thinning of hair, headaches/migraines, hearing loss, heart palpitations, hives (Urticaria), hypertension (high blood pressure), impotency and sexual problems, inability to concentrate, infection susceptibility, insomnia, irritability, itching, joint pains, laryngitis, “like thinking in a fog,†marked personality changes, memory loss, menstrual problems or changes, muscle spasms, nausea or vomiting, numbness or tingling of extremities, other allergic-like reactions, panic attacks, phobias, poor memory, rapid heartbeat, rashes, seizures and convulsions, slurring of speech, swallowing pain, tachycardia, tremors, tinnitus, vertigo, vision loss, and weight gain. [2]

Questions have been raised about brain cancer, lymphoma, and genotoxic effects such as DNA-protein crosslinks, but these questions are primarily not based on reported case histories.

The sources for reported symptoms and health conditions that have raised questions include:

Reports and analysis of case histories in scientific journals and at medical conferences

Symptoms reported to the FDA and other governmental agencies

Symptoms reported to non-governmental organizations, researchers, and physicians

Reports of symptoms and health conditions in the media

    Self-reported cases on the Internet.

There is debate in the scientific and medical community as to whether these symptoms are or are not caused by short-term or long-term exposure to aspartame. Some human and animal studies have found adverse effects and some have found no adverse effects. [4], [5], [6], [7], [8], [9]

It is not only the results of the research that have been questioned, but the design of the research that led to specific outcomes. For example, in human research of aspartame, the aspartame is usually provided in slow-dissolving capsules. But the biochemical changes from ingesting aspartame in slow-dissolving capsules are many times smaller than those from ingesting aspartame dissolved in liquids (such as carbonated beverages). [10]

Some human studies provide more than the daily allowance of aspartame, but in an encapsulated form. Based on the above-cited research, the equivalent amount of “real-world†aspartame in these human studies would be less. Other questions that have been raised about aspartame research involving the length of the studies, the number of test subjects, conflict of interest issues, and improper testing procedures.

  4. Yeah its multiply by 0.1750 and then add it to the price of the item, by parents have makro cards aswell. I dont drink diet drinks as the have an artificial sweetner called "Aspartame" in it, and its been proven by lab scientists that its very very bad for you. It was tested on rats and it give them cancer. Always check the ingredients when you go to buy a drink. Dont drink anything with Aspartame in it!!!
