That was almost as if Colin's show was back on!
I wonder how many younger listeners will be aware of that song...
Im guessing more than you think : It was in a Tony Hawks Underground 2 or similar

Calvin Harris appears to be worried about the musical clashing with his gig :
My gig at Edinburgh picture house clashes with the first night of 'Scott Mills:The Musical' should I just cut my losses and cancel now?
From his Twitter.

Video is rubbish, but i do like the song i must admit :]

He is also currently on BBC 3 presenting the friendly between Ireland and Italy :]

Maybe its because i fit the "children" target audience, being 16, but i enjoyed the show. I thaught he was pretty nervous as, like Colin said, he would probably get alot of stick on the text from die-hard Murry fans.
I think it will get better as he gets used to the format and features, and should be interesting to see what other features crop up in the other days.

Hey everyone. I'm in with Fearne to do a bit of a gaming surgery style feature helping people with sections of games they might be stuck on or finding bonus levels etc
What games you currently playing? Stuck on any?
Aled
Hey Aled.
I baught my Sister "Kingdom Hearts" (Disney meets final fantasy) for the PS2. She got quite far through, but got stuck in the level where you have to kill the Hunter in the jungle who rides the bear. Any ideas? Quite random and obscure, i know :]

Had to say i voted for Mario Kart 64, best game i've ever played despite being pretty ancient now. World of Warcraft was a close second, mind.

Im guessing your talking about the Enter Shikari song, and though i love the band this is not there best song to be honest!
They do have alot of good songs though, "sorry your not a winner" and "anything can happen in the next half hour" are some good ones. I remember doing an english essay on this band a couple of years back haha.
Edit: Voted for "choon" as i cant bear to see a decent band get a 100% "chuff" vote!

Yeah, that was probably from his Twitter, where he said :
good Lord just saw you can get it at Tesco's for 57p! 57p!!! That track took me 2 years! 57p! 2 years! 57p! No wonder music's on it's arse x
then
2 years is an exaggeration, clearly
But yeah, that is really very cheap for a song that good!

The coverage on the Beeb was so so much better than ITV. We had actual interesting talks with people who knew what they were talking about, there was talk about the track and the new teams and the diffusers and it was just so better executed it was unbelievable.
There was no James Allen wittering on with his head up Hamilton's arse. There was no shouting that we wanted to hear from him/see him. We didn't have to endure an interview with his father. Just... \o/
The only bad bit, that made me cringe so much, was the interviews they did with Richard Branson. There are no words. Please don't let us have to watch that every week because... ewww. Talk to someone who knows things.
Even Martin's grid walk was better than it had been because he actually talked to some of the drivers and race engineers instead of a ton of celebrities who wouldn't know a formula one car if it hit them in the face.
Epic.
I am a happy little F1 fan today.
Jeeeeeense \o/
And, of course, not having to miss any action with annoying ad breaks.
Enjoyed it this weekend.

Not sure if this has been posted, not been keeping up with this thread, but Aled posted this on Twitter on Friday:
Thank you! Hello to Surgery listeners on Sirius. I'm full time now so I'll be doing it till they kick me off!

Would be nice to see Friendly Fires, Kings of Leon, Calvin Harris, Frank Turner maybe?

Tinchy Stryder has updated his Twitter, saying:

Derren: I’ll predict Lotto numbers during show.

I really enjoyed tonights show..
Couple of points i picked up on though :
Surely, if 24 people are choosing a number between 1-49 the average of that number will be about 24 ish. I know he let them pick negatives, and numbers above 49, but it would be very unlikely to come out at a number to the low or high point of the scale.
I noticed in the 2 trial runs they did, when they got 1/6 and 3/6 correct the numbers they did get were all close to the "centre point" of 24 if you catch me.
I've heard alot of the rumours about split screens, and i can see where they are coming from.. When he replayed the show from wednesday tonight i did notice alot of hints that could point towards that : The fact the camera went dead still before he moved across to reveal his predicition, the balls jumping up slightly when he moves across and a suspicious line in the wall (and the cable on the floor) possibly used to disguise the two screens.
Either way hes a clever guy, and puts on a fantastic show :
