When I listen to him (Gambuccini) on radio 2 occasionally, he's fine, but every year he's frankly awful at the Sonys for some reason. Wogan was good but you need a double heading for something this long (over *4 hours* now..) - maybe they should get a female co-host.

Further pure speculation by me is that they'll probably give out free OBW tickets to anyone who bothers to turn up and/or can quote the 'password' as some sort of reward for their trouble.

My 'clutching at straws' theory: FIA = "Fooled in April", Monday being April 30th and Scott is attempting the world's latest possible April Fool's Joke.. Actually I think the execution of this is quite clever - if they achieve nothing else, they get a few more people aware of R1's digital/on-demand output and downloading the podcasts etc. (Hello btw, I'm not a "committed" listener to Radio 1 but occasionally visit the site all the same).
