    BRMB is wank, but with Galaxy going what are all the chavs going to do with out their R 'n' B choons ?

    seems rather stupid to have two of their own stations competing with each other, why not just change BRMB, right bunch of knobs running Craptial, i cannot get it here where i am, but does Johnny Yawn still do the breakie show ?

    basically,

    Duncan's company is based in the UK & pays £X amount of tax on profits (etc) & his own pay maybe 50% of his pay if he earns above £100,000 a year,

    James's company is based in the Cayman Islands & pays there tax rates which is basically nothing & he pays nothing to the UK tax man in way of profits, also he lives in Marbella most of the time & can spend a set number of days on the UK to run his company, by doing this he doesn't pay any (a little amount) of tax on his pay, so he can sell stuff cheaper as he can make up the difference on the tax he doesn't pay.

    so if you buy something off of Duncan some of the money goes to the UK taxman, but if you buy something off of James none of the money goes to the UK taxman.

    *note;

    James may pay full UK tax on his own pay & on all of his company interests & other investments, i was using James as a example.

    According to Duncans Twitter its false however there is still a rift between himself and James

    Duncan said a few months ago that he was pissed off at business people who are biased off-shore like James is, he only comes over a couple of days a week & meets his team & doesn't pay much tax.

    Today marks the 9th anniversary of the tragic events that occurred in America on 11th September 2001. It is certainly this century's 'where were you when...' moment. Everytime I see the footage of them cowards smashing into the twin towers, it still sends a shiver down my spine.

    this century isn't over yet.

    i was in work & heard about it on R1.

    a family friend was supposed to be in work (doing work experience) very near to the Trade Center, on the day her friends in NYC & her mom (in the UK she was living here & Sarah [her daughter] was living in their apartment in NYC) were trying desperately to contact her after they had heard/seen what had happened, but her mobile was going straight to answerphone every-time, her mom was in a frantic state as you can imagine & at one point she said to her friends that she (Sarah) was dead, in NYC most things were shut down the phones power in lower Manhattan were shut off & mobiles stopped working due to overload, so nobody could contact anyone really & people didn't want to go out into the streets either,

    fortunately (i suppose you could say) Sarah had been quite ill during the night & had decided not to go into to work, as she hadn't slept she had turned her mobile off & only woke-up in the afternoon, realizing what had happened & what all these missed calls were about tried to tell her friends/mom she was ok but the phones were still out so it wasn't till the evening that she could tell them she was ok & what had happened to her, also in the 24 to 48 hours after she received the messages her friends & family had left her.

    i also don't believe that the terrorists were acting alone, nor do i believe the 9/11 Commission report.

    You been reading the Daily Mail again Alan? ;)

    I do agree however, that he clearly would have been aware that this would mean the end of his contract. He probably wanted to terminate it, and why not do it in this way? I certainly wouldn't condemn him for it.

    On a lighter note, I'd like a pink or purple coloured Stig please. Maybe a female one? Not being sexist re. colours, just thought it'd be nice to see a purple helmet on Top Gear on Sundays!

    Sabine Schmitz would be the obvious choice if she wasn't already on the German version of Top Gear... Danica Patrick is stuck in Indy/NASCAR (sadly), theres a few upcoming talents in the Touring Car support championships who'd be up to it soon if not already like Alice Powell, Sarah Moore, Louise Richardson, wouldn't mind seeing Susie Stoddart actually, she's been racing for a while now where the others I mentioned are young and still developing their craft... yeah I'll stop with the geekery now :P

    Thought he already had been fired? That's why he revealed his identity?

    it would have taken him some time to write a whole book, especially a autobiography, he would have known that by outing himself he would get sacked for breaking a confidentially agreement he signed 7 years ago in good faith, basically he got greedy, however he has now got a lot of hate going his way :D
