    And I agree with all those you added cxx666 :) I forgot to put coffee and the smell of coffee on my list though.

    And Sophie, yes I hate tropical flavoured fruit juice. Nothing random about it, I just hate it and everyone else seems to love it :P

    the guy that threw the fire extinguisher should get the same sentence as the policman who pushed over Ian Tomlinson who later died in hospital.

    the fire extinguisher didn't hit or injure anyone so there is no charge to face.

    (going to have to be careful here with the likes of MI5 sneaking about)

    i don't have a problem with what they did, peaceful protesting doesn't get anywhere in the end.

    kill & murder people in the UK & you get tea & biscuits with the PM (Tony Blair) that's what the IRA did, be a leader of a organization that killed & bombed places & you get lorded about as one of the greatest humans to have ever lived Nelson Mandela, both got their way, (i am NOT saying or suggesting that the protesters should kill people, i am using a example of violent protests that have succeed in the goals set out by the perpetrators)

    in contrast Tenzin Gyatso (14th Dalai Lama) & Aung San Suu Kyi have got nowhere,

    the only exception is Mahatma Gandhi but he galvanised the people because his ideology was what everyone wanted.

    i don't condone people attacking the police, however the police are supposed to 'protect & serve' (i no longer believe this).

    some people say "the pen is mightier than the sword" others say "actions speak louder than words"

    this got everyone's attention (extreme example i know)

    at the end of the day, it is pointless the students protesting because nothing is going to change, the fees are going to to up.

    i have been thinking about this, & maybe it could be expanded into a proper Alternative xmas message aimed at the Radio-1 listener, you know the younger generation :)

    there are a number of people who have had some experiences this year that have got them in the press & have had other relevant experiences (that young people could relate to) these are my three candidates & the reasons why i think they would be suitable.

    Lily Allen, of course the loss of her second baby has been the big thing in her life this year & for the past two-three, many women go through this & shearing this could help a-lot of people who have gone through the same thing, she has also had family issues with parents splitting up & even her drug dealing [link to Lily's dealing http://www.nme.com/news/lily-allen/25332 for legal reasons] she also made her way into the music scene on her own & is s pretty fun loving young woman.

    i know what your going to say about the next person :rolleyes:

    Kelly Osbourne, this last 18 months Kelly is now seen in a different light for one reason only, her weight loss, now she is exactly the same person she was before inside so what difference does it matter now that she is thin & fit's into the "how a woman should look" stereotype, she has also had addictions to drugs, parental issues like parents fighting (Ozzy was jailed for attacking Sharon, been date-raped [link http://www.contactmusic.com/new/xmlfeed.nsf/story/kelly-pens-date-rape-song-after-admitting-shes-a-victim for legal reasons] friendship problems (in the past Kelly has said most of her friends were only her friend so they could use her for profit).

    Sir Stephen Fry, i don't really think i need to explain any reasons here.

    what do people think, do you have any idea's on people who you think would be good for this ?

    lots of things like this go on but the main stream media don't report it, because they don't want to have racial tension increasing.

    are you going to stand ?

    i think you should, decided which ever you feel you fit in best with regarding your values, you will always have to comprise on some subjects though no matter who you stand for or represent, maybe draw up a list on things you disagree with on their policies & tell them, surly there will be someone who will want to chat things over with.

    it's your life Jono, so it's up to you, but i think personally that this is one of the rare occasions that is to good to miss out on,

    in the pages of history, every once in a while, fate reaches out and extends its hand, What shall the history books read ?
