Scott and Chris had already peeked inside the envelope
Scott and Chris were celebrating after winning a BBC Radio Award for the Playground Insults interview with Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt. There was, however, a confession attached to the victory: backstage, they had managed to sneak a look inside the awards envelope before the result was officially announced.
They therefore knew they had won before walking into the ceremony, although the celebrations still left both of them feeling decidedly rough the following day.
Olly Murs faced Innuendo Bingo
Olly Murs joined Scott and Chris for Innuendo Bingo and congratulated them on their award before getting soaked. He also discussed his music, football interests and one of the occupational hazards of performing live: underwear being thrown onto the stage.
Olly said he normally looks at whatever has landed, makes a joke about whether it might fit him, then pushes it to the side and carries on with the show.
Michael Phelps was going to race a shark
Real or No Real produced a particularly unlikely true story: Michael Phelps was set to “race” a great white shark as part of a Discovery television special. Scott and Chris compared the swimming speeds involved and concluded that even one of the greatest swimmers in history faced rather formidable competition.
