Where can I see Scott Mills in pantomime?

The Wycombe Swan has confirmed a star-studded cast for this year’s Christmas panto, with Radio 2 Breakfast host Scott Mills and award-winning drag queen La Voix set to headline Jack and the Beanstalk. The pair will bring a burst of festive energy to High Wycombe when the show runs from 12 December 2025 to 4 January 2026, produced by the award-winning Imagine Theatre.

Mills returns to panto as Mayor Mills, while La Voix makes her third Wycombe appearance, fresh from Strictly Come Dancing. It was confirmed on 13 August that La Voix, known for RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and Britain’s Got Talent, will lace up her dancing shoes for the long-running Saturday night hit.

La Voix will be joining an eclectic Strictly cast that includes Harry Aikines-Aryeetey (Nitro), Dani Dyer, Alex Kingston, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Balvinder Sopal, George Clarke, Chris Robshaw and Ellie Goldstein. Strictly returns to BBC One in September, making La Voix’s festive season busier than ever.

In a statement about joining the Strictly ballroom, she said, “I’ve performed for royalty, RuPaul and Simon Cowell, but nothing fills me with more excitement, and quite a bit of terror, than the thought of dancing in front of millions on live Saturday night TV. Strictly is a national institution and I can’t wait to get started. All that’s left to say is: good luck to my partner! Here’s hoping they can help me go from La Voix into La Danse.”

Her TV and film credits also include ITV’s Queens For The Night, Paramount’s Queen Of The Universe, Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, and her acclaimed international stage shows.

Scott meanwhile reminisced about growing up going to panto. He said: “That feeling of heading into town, doing a bit of shopping, and then sitting down with your family to watch the show. It’s magic.

“And the best bit is it’s for everyone.. with kids, parents, grandparents all enjoying it together. That’s what makes it so special.

“On stage it means long days and lots of hard work, but it also means laughing until your sides hurt, and seeing all those children’s faces light up because you’ve become part of their Christmas?

“There’s just no feeling like it.”

A GIANT Panto Line-up

Joining Mills and La Voix in Wycombe are A1’s Mark Read as Jack, Britain’s Got Talent finalist Matt Edwards bringing the laughs, musical theatre performer Christina Harris as Princess Jill and TikTok star Jo Osmond as the wicked Poison Ivy. With a cast this colourful, audiences can expect big laughs, big performances and big festive fun.

Imagine Theatre is once again rolling out its spectacular digital set design, bringing animated backgrounds and dazzling visuals to this classic tale of beans, bravery and beanstalks. It’s everything a family panto should be: cheeky jokes, lively songs, slapstick chaos and that cosy Christmas feeling.

Will Jack Save the Day?

The Trotts are skint, the giant is terrorising the village, and poor Buttercup the cow may have to be sold just to keep the family afloat. It’s down to Jack to climb into the clouds, face the villain and win the heart of Princess Jill. Expect adventure, mayhem and a few surprises along the way.

With Scott Mills, La Voix and a cast full of fan favourites, Jack and the Beanstalk at the Wycombe Swan is shaping up to be a moo-vellous Christmas panto. Full of heart, humour and festive sparkle, this year’s show promises magical memories and plenty of beans.
