Comic Relief have revealed the full details of the challenge that Greg James will be participating in this February.
The afternoon DJ will join comedians Jack Dee and Dara O’Briain, Spice Girl Mel C, and actress Chelsee Healey to journey down the Zambezi River in Africa to raise money for charity.
They will travel around 68 miles in boats, canoes and white water rafts paddling for 8 hours a day for five days. The challenge will end at the world’s largest waterfall, Victoria Falls.
The group of celebrities will be camping on cliffs and by river banks, and will have to be guarded from the likes of crocodiles, hippos, and elephants.
Mel C told reporters: “It’s going to be tough. It’s going to be physically and emotionally demanding, but we’ve all got each other and hopefully we’ll be able to get through it.”
This year’s Red Nose Day is Friday 15 March.
