As we reported earlier last month, Scott Mills will be at the forefront of this year’s Comic Relief activity, as he takes part in a 100km trek across the Kenyan desert.
He will take part in the gruelling challenge along with eight other celebrities including Olly Murs, Kara Tointon, Dermot O’Leary, and Lorraine Kelly in two weeks’ time.
For five days the group will be hoping to avoid the world’s deadliest snakes – as well as combating temperatures of up to 38C – so there’ll be no need for Scott to get a fake tan when he returns!
The aim of the challenge is to raise awareness and money of blindness in Africa.
Other stars taking part in the trek include Nadia Sawalha, Ronni Ancona, Radio 4’s Peter White and Craig David.
Sara Cox will present BBC Radio 1’s afternoon show while Scott is away.
