I think I am a bit of a pushover, personally. I don't like annoying people.

Good news. seems, after my complaint about the pool cafe, i may be getting complimentary tickets to the actual swimming pool. will find out tomorrow. Shows sometimes it is worth standing up to things.
As they say, the squeaky wheel gets the oil.
Had really great birthday just seen Bombay bicycle club they were amazing and had a load a birthday shots Im quite drunk lolI would love to see them live.

I'm also not confident London's infrastructure is anywhere near ready for what's going to hit it. Let's hope I'm wrong.
I think in terms of transport walking or cycling will be the only things worth bothering with. Can't imagine the roads are going to cope, especially with those ridiculous VIP lanes they're going to have (not sure whether they are still going ahead with those). As to public transport, well, probably the same.

It's been a while.

Sounds quite good. If I lived round there I would definitely try and get tickets.

i misread her last name as 'japseye'. she's pretty fit though, i would.
Yeah she's not bad. It's a decent pop song but nothing much more than that. It seems to me like one of those flash-in-the-pan things that happens so often.

First cycle ride in a week and it was great.

Excellent contribution...

Scott just likes having a laugh. Nothing wrong with that.

They seem like two very different people and not a combination you would think would work.

If I want to know about traffic I'd listen to local radio, would be quite difficult for R1 to list all major incidents in the country,
To be fair they do manage to do it on Radio 2 but it's only major roads.

I dont't even know what that is. Have to go. Too stressed to talk.
Wi-Fi? Wireless Internet. Basically like using 3G (mobile Internet) but less expensive. Most people at home either have that, which they access through something called a router, or 'ethernet', which is through cables rather than wireless. You'll often see Wi-Fi in places like cafes, libraries, train stations, places like that.

I have to say though, she is a little better this morning. Compared to Monday I think she has gotten used to it a bit more.

I'm pleased the forum is starting to gain traction again.

Stooshe again. WHEN WILL THIS SONG DIE. DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE.
That song is the very definition of obnoxious.

She's boring on the show, I haven't bothered listening even though I love the show normally.
-
Looks good. Better job that I could ever do, at least.

You can already get the podcast
That's mostly how I listen to the show now.

I remember I used to watch before Blue Peter came on.

One thing that Radio 1's drivetime show lacks is any sense that the audience might be listening while actually driving or coming home from somewhere – here, "drivetime" has become lingua franca for a radio programme that's on in the late afternoon. But elsewhere, travel information and kinship with the weary commuter is the backbone of this slot.
Yes, but I bet to a lot of people that isn't interesting listening, whether they are travelling somewhere or not.
On Five Live, there is barely a traffic light failure that doesn't get a mention; on Radio Two, devotes swathes of time to a woman sometimes referred to as "Sally Travel" and TalkSport seldom allows five minutes to elapse without use of the words "white" and "van".
I thought it was Sally Traffic, not Sally Travel? Maybe they changed it.
But then, perhaps equally important on the radio at this time of day is a sense that our hard work is done and we can now loosen our proverbial ties and enjoy ourselves. It's this element that Mills did well and James – who already appears to building a listeners club of like-minded souls – seems likely to do too, although at one point he did refer to "boring Newsbeat" before hastily backtracking.
Well, perhaps it's a good thing that most of Newsbeat is going then, if no one cares about it. Which is a shame, because I think the news is important, not boring.
So if you listened to Greg James's drivetime debut, what did you think and will you be tuning in again? And if you get your drivetime thrills elsewhere, what are the elements that keep you coming back?
Probably not. I still listen to Scott because even though some days the show isn't that great I still think it is worth my time.

Hmmm. Reasonable. Wish random acts of kindess wd come back... But then, who is gonna spend the cash during the never ending recession.
I don't know, there are some very kind and generous people about regardless.

Maybe Viv hasn't noticed what day it is today.

Sounds like some bad planning in both cases.

I thought it sounded a little awkward on air.
