  1. I take it the Hairy Cornflake (aka Dave Lee Travis) isn't having anything to do with the BBC anymore then?

Or at least Radio 1, but I see no mention of him here.

Kenny Everett being interviewed by Moyles... would be a little difficult though Alan ;) a mention... probably unlikely.

  2. never heard of him to be honest, but shame he seemed to be pretty talented & have a good future in-front of him.

keeps a eye on Jan Moir :doubt:

I will... as long as it's through some crosshairs...

No idea who this guy was, but that IS a very young age...

  3. I think a Chuffhunter lyric is appropriate here...

This is chuff, just put your hands up if you've had enough,

we know it's tricky and it can be tough, for you to listen to the Euro-guff

Just tell us and we'll gladly turn it off...

and like Chuffhunter, I'd rather fill my ears with cheese, or run headfirst into a load of bees.

  4. I think Chris Evans has done alright considering it was a very hard act to follow. It's brought a bit of freshness to the breakfast show on Radio 2, Ken Bruce still enjoys a bit of banter at 09:30 when Chris Evans goes off air.

If Moyles weren't on, I'd probably listen to Evans, seeing as I used to love his TV shows and even his Radio1 Breakfast show stint...

    (is my age showing yet?)

  5. Did he definately die though? Probably, but not conclusively. I think. Okay, 24 hours on and I've mostly forgotten it. hehe.

Well, in an interview on 5Live he says his character has a suicide moment and jumps off a roof to his death.... so yeah. Read from that what you will.

  6. Nah Triple H, Christian and Matt Hardy all the way! Also love Sterling James Keenan, AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels :D

Nearly smacked a door into Christopher Daniels face once in the bar after the show. A tad embarrassing.

wow there's a claim to fame... or it would be if Christopher Daniels was better known outside of wrestling :P

  7. pity this didn't happen to Walford

    :hahaha:

If I was a fan, I'd almost feel cheated that neither the bunker-buster or nuke option happened... I mean they did promote it somewhere as having an 'explosive' ending, did they not? :D

  8. pistol Pete was/is the best.

as for wrestling i remember when Paul Bearer turned on the Undertaker during a casket match :giggle:

anyway Ric Flair is the best WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooo

quite strange how both of them look practically the same as they did in the 80s... paunches aside anyways....
