    I'm not sure it was anti-corporate America as much it was anti-colonialism (the military didn't come off so well, either).

    The army wasn't representing a country but a corporation.

    I liked Michelle Rodriguez in it. First time I can stand her.

    Well it's not just habit it's also machines and security... Schools do close down over here too and we have 5 winter months each year.

    It's not a question of "it's bad the economy" and bla bla bla, it's also a question of security. You don't have many heavy machines to take care of the roads, airports and trains in england, people do not have snow tires, electricity is alway in high demand in winter so sometimes there are blackouts.

    We need 136 M$ in Montreal ALONE to take care of the snow...

    Just relax a bit and enjoy the little snow that you have in england...:)

    By the way I'm not saying that it's not annoying. Last year I took a train from Montreal to Toronto during a heavy snow storm and sometimes we had to stop with no lights on. It's suposed to take 5-6 hours it took us 9... We are really lucky for the airport tho.

    EDIT: I forgot to add: People love a bit of drama don't they? So they panic ;)

    I saw it yesterday...

    The graphics are pure class, seriously amazing. The story is far from amazing tho. The moral is a bit too "in your face" but it was a good movie.

    I LOVED the fact that it was anti-corporate america :D

    I'm originally from france (Grenoble) but I moved to Canada (Montreal) when I was about 10 or 12. My dad works half of the year in england (Oxford) so I always go and stay for few months with him. I always listen to Moyles and Mills when I'm there and listen to the podcasts when I'm back in Canada or France. :D

    I'm half algerian so I wish Algeria all the best but at the same time, England is one hell of a team. Still there is a lot of mini-Zidane in the algerian team so finger crossed.

    I think that Italy has the easiest group...ever.

    There are people out there thinking that global warming is only due to the earth's cycles and that we (humans) have little to do with it.

    I'm just shocked! How people can not think that all the pollution that we make have little effects on our ecosystem and our health. It kills me.

    Idiots like Ann Coulter saying that god will end the earth...it just makes cry with laughter.
