  1. Saw it last week, and bloody loved it. Me and my friends came out of the cinema completely dumbfounded.

I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to go up to strangers and talk about it!

Haha, bordering on the obsessive there.

So, if you hadn't already guessed... I really liked it!

  2. Me and my friends have been debating this whole thing today...

The thing is, I can understand people's frustration with Simon Cowell constantly controlling the Christmas Number One (If he just released it any other week it would be far less of an irritation!) but I just can't help but feel for Joe - he will be the first winner not to go straight to number one - even Steve Brookstein managed that. However, if he doesn't go to number one this Sunday he will the following week anyway.

It does make the whole thing more exciting though, like it used to be. I would prefer it if someone was trying to beat him with an actual Christmas song, though.

So yeah, Joe for number one, if only because we have the same name :).

  3. What sucks?

Drama School sometimes feels like more stress than it's worth, time is going so fast, and we're so stupidly busy that it becomes very difficult to do what other uni students do, lounge around getting drunk!

Also, Scott Mills: The Musical feels like a lifetime ago! (apologies for being so inactive on here at the moment, as stressed before, life is more hectic than I would like at the mo)...

Oh well, rant over. I hope you're all well and happy. And Danni - you deserve someone committed and loving, just like you.

  4. Evening Joe. Was just pondering, which programmes, especially the crappy ones do you watch?

Oh lord I watch all sorts of rubbish. X Factor, BGT, Come Dine With Me (Actually amazing), Loose Women (ha)... there's more but I can't think!

why did you choose the username groovyhoover ?

When I was about 13 and thought I was cool, I used it as an email username, and it's just kind of stuck to be honest.

Hey Joe, are you really left handed or did you just pretend to be for authenticity during the musical? ;)

I am actually left handed, me and Scott must just have a lot of similarities!

  5. And a Singstar: Scott Mills, please ;)

So, can't really think of any questions. Well done me, for realising journalism is not for me. However, when you become a big musical star or actor (which one do you prefer?) I guess I could still do some freelancing for some magazines or newspapers. How would you feel about coming to Denmark for an interview then? It's a nice country, really! ;)

Anyway, just wanted to say I really enjoyed the musical and you were very good on it, both as an actor and as a singer. Well done!

I'd love to come to Denmark, I've never been! :) And thankyou for the lovely comments :D

Oi! I thought I had been behaving quite well!

And Joe, thanks for answering our questions!

No worries, keep em comin! :P x.

  6. I have been listening to a couple of old Podcasts recently, last night I was listening to Scott talking about wanting to enter the Eurovision Song Contest. Since we now know how fab your voice is, would Scott be able to talk you into being his Eurovision Song Contest entry for next year? ;)

I can't think of anything better!

    So you have a wii

I do, but it's not hooked up to the internet... :(

  7. Yay :D glad you made it onto the thread Joe.

A couple more questions from me:

What was your favourite song from the musical?

What did Chappers really think about it all after he saw it?

My favourite song to sing was probably the Dreamed a Dream spoof, or Pinot Grigio (I love to belt). I also love Chappers' I just wanna dance.

Chappers told me he really enjoyed it, and said lovely things about the show. I hope he was being serious :P

have you been approached by any musical producers etc from the West End & alike to be in anyother shows ?

I haven't yet but here's hoping! I can't fully commit to things very easily at the moment though, as I'm still studying. But who knows?

  8. Hey Joe! You were fab in the musical! My question is if you could join the cast of any show on TV, which show would you pick?

    Thank you!

Ummm I would love to do a voice on Futurama. Or maybe a cameo in True Blood! Or maybe just be an extra Friend :D

Hi Joe, I'm Scott's actual Guru but you probably already knew that. You may recognize me off youtube ect ;) Anyway, enough about me. You must have spent a lot of time with Scott having to play him so what's he actually like as a person. Good traits AND bad traits. Thanks!

P.S. Don't be alarmed but over the past week I have had your voice in my head quite a bit. Mostly saying "R-A-D-I-O baby on the R-A-D-I-O" over and over :)

Haha loving the little musical in joke there :).

Scott is actually a lovely person, they all are. I had the best time with them all.

Scott's good traits - he is very funny in person, buys us drinks :) and I really like how lovely he is when people recognise him - never a diva. Bad things... He is addicted to his iPhone and I can't keep up with his speedy Pinot drinking! x.

  9. are you going to send these Questions to Joe equalsabracket?

My question is Hi Joe what was It Like Playing Scott In the Musical?

Sorry, missed this question! Playing Scott was wicked fun, and I was lucky enough to have a lot of input into the songs and stuff so they worked for my voice and the script was fantastic - it basically gave me the opportunity to dress up in stupid things, say stupid things and sing my heart out. I loved it and wish it wasn't over.

and about the appearance... I'm not sure whether to do it yet... I imagine it being quite embarassing! But I will get paid, I'll find out how much first! Hehe x.

  10. Joe is a member of the forum. Hopefully he will drop by occasionally and answer them himself :D

    My question would be:

What is next for you Joe?

(Looking forward to hearing you on the show again soon.)

Well, officially, I'm going back to LIPA on the 14th to start my second year. We're all unsure but optimistic about other things happening, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Make sure you keep listening cause I may be on the show at some point soon x.

What diva demands did you make for the musical - or have you made - since returning?

I can honestly say I don't make diva demands :). I think the closest it came was on the last night, just before the encore one of the sound guys asked me to take a handheld because people scream so much during the encore that it's difficult to hear the song. I said yes, but then panicked about the logistics of doing the dance routine with a handheld mike, so I said no. Is that diva-ish? I hope not!
