I was listening this morning and thinking he sounded as funny as ever. We know Sara Cox is parked in a slot she doesn't want - judging by the pre-records and there is a huge question mark over weekend breakfast when Grimmy goes to Colin's show. I just don't see it effecting breakfast. It hasn't been long since he gained half an hour!

It was most pleasing to see Paxman questioning the logic of the ASA about this one. He used the example of the advertisements the government ran over the Christmas holidays which highlighted the dangers of one too many. Such as the adverts where they show the teenagers' night in reverse. The chief of ASA argued the situation was not the same, but Paxman argued that both adverts showed alcohol does have an effect.

I think all the hype has bit Radio 1 on the bottom this year as it appears less glamorous. The line up is really good but I can see why there are some who are disappointed. Be honest - for a free event - you would not turn down those tickets!
