  1. Without even having listened to her Julie Ann could be the next presenter of that slot, Radio 1 are desperate for young/new female talent. They seem to deem Jo Whiley and Sara Cox too old and they don't have any one else except; Fearne who isn't great and Annie Mac who's a touring DJ. Not that there's anything wrong with a male dominated schedule, of course.

Mostly what you'd expect, the only surprises for me being Dev and Moyles and the Saturday.

  3. It is a GREAT line up and everyone who get tickets will have a great time and I'm not complaining BUT who thought that having Florence headline over Dizzee and Keys was a good idea?! I mean entertainment value is subjective (I'd say Dizzee was better on that) but Florence only has one album of material, surely you'd have Rascal or Keys headline purely on depth of back catalogue?

  4. I was very impressed, I think Tom Deacon's very funny and as you said he was very good with Scouting For Girls, the surgery jingle was hilarious too (although he didn't take credit for that). I'd even go on a limb and say, even only 1 week in, he's much more likely to be a future star of Radio 1 that either Edmondson (who's disappointing, maybe it's the format) or Dev.

  5. It actually sounds like a watchable show. Although Id agree its a strange title, is evo meant to mean anything or is it just a random word like zwa?

I wonder how Edith will fare with it, She seems such a marmite presenter, some people really dont seem to like her that much and I hope they give her and the show a chance.

I might be wrong but I think it's a name of a car or a car brand, I presume they're sponsoring the show.
