Looks like I'll be ravin' outside the bloody Faenol wall
-
She was very good. A bright future it seems.
I agree, her sense of humour reminds me a bit of Sara Cox (as she is now).
I'd quite like to see her get a slot on Radio1, as I said they do need young female talent.
-
Without even having listened to her Julie Ann could be the next presenter of that slot, Radio 1 are desperate for young/new female talent. They seem to deem Jo Whiley and Sara Cox too old and they don't have any one else except; Fearne who isn't great and Annie Mac who's a touring DJ. Not that there's anything wrong with a male dominated schedule, of course.

Well, at least people will be doing things for the right reasons.

Mostly what you'd expect, the only surprises for me being Dev and Moyles and the Saturday.

It is a GREAT line up and everyone who get tickets will have a great time and I'm not complaining BUT who thought that having Florence headline over Dizzee and Keys was a good idea?! I mean entertainment value is subjective (I'd say Dizzee was better on that) but Florence only has one album of material, surely you'd have Rascal or Keys headline purely on depth of back catalogue?

4?

INMWT
Introducing
Outdoor? But Annie Mac's announcing the outdoor stage, apparently.
Maybe an expansion of the Switch or the Live Lounge (mini) stages?
I'd like a welsh stage myself
-
Can I add fuel to the rumour and tell you that a local choir has been asked by Radio1 to learn GaGa songs.
Annie Mac usually plays the same time as the big pop act doesn't she? Wish me luck in trying to get a friend to come rave with me! (IF I get tickets that is!!!)
-
REALLY enjoyed the cover. A candidate for Live Lounge vol.5
-
The worst thing was neither of them could let it go afterwards. Sister was pissed at the accusation and Nihal was pissed that Kid Sister was pissed at the accusation, really uncomfortable radio tbh.
-
Norman Cook?
-
Brilliant! 30 Seconds To Mars did a really good cover last time too
-
I was very impressed, I think Tom Deacon's very funny and as you said he was very good with Scouting For Girls, the surgery jingle was hilarious too (although he didn't take credit for that). I'd even go on a limb and say, even only 1 week in, he's much more likely to be a future star of Radio 1 that either Edmondson (who's disappointing, maybe it's the format) or Dev.
-
It actually sounds like a watchable show. Although Id agree its a strange title, is evo meant to mean anything or is it just a random word like zwa?
I wonder how Edith will fare with it, She seems such a marmite presenter, some people really dont seem to like her that much and I hope they give her and the show a chance.
I might be wrong but I think it's a name of a car or a car brand, I presume they're sponsoring the show.
-
Mr Deacon isn't half bad, the Scouting for Girls segment and the Surgery jingle were hilarious.

Zane's on breakfast Good Friday

Happy birthday

Best O!WO since Patrick left. I love how Scott and Mistajam put down Bieber without putting him down. He's even more of a knob than I thought.
-
Sometimes your poll options can be dire, but I lol'd this week.
Not sure about this one, I should hate it; it's shallow and predictable but I just can't help but sing and dance along! :S
-
Hmmm, wouldn't seem so odd if it was a permanent move, but moving them for just a two weeks seems, well a bit pointless. Unless, as abertom suggests it's because of Moyles being on holiday.
-
I like Matt but he does sound much better with someone to bounce off (i.e Fearne).
-
Wouldn't it be great for listeners and a massive boost for the under threat station if Whiley teamed up with Lamacq on drive? *Crosses fingers*
Jo will also be part of the roster of presenters for the new Radio2 in concert show starting next month.

Good Luck Sara
