  1. So if you'd like to see me getting beaten up - and I know a few of you would ;-) - the final Big Weekend video has just gone up on the blog: http://pauldenchfield.typepad.com/paul_denchfield/2007/05/the_final_battl.html It includes a few thank-yous, but I'd like to give a big shout out now to everyone at UnofficalMills - everyone who's posted and everyone on the site admin side - for all your help during this whole crazy adventure. I couldn't have done it without you. Big up UM! Cheers, Paul
  2. So much happened over the weekend that I've hardly had a chance to catch my breath, let alone edit footage together. I'm getting onto it today. So, for those of you who couldn't make the Big Weekend, you'll soon be able to see the intrepid agents who did make it, the tattooed streaker, Cyrus beating me up, and our final moment of triumph in the Angels massage tent. Watch the blog. Updates will be coming through in the next few hours: www.pauldenchfield.com And, of course, help track down those stolen instruments - Mark Ronson's keyboard has surfaced today: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/bigweekend/2007/instrumenthunt/ Cheers, Paul
  3. Evening - sorry I haven't posted mushc here recently. Things have been a bit flamin' mental round here, as you might have seen: vids going up all the time at pauldenchfield.com. Keep an eye on Twitter if you want updates. Three transmitters down already - just one more and we're sorted! Cheers, Paul
  4. New post up now. Just getting ready to head over for when the gates open. Hope to see some of you there. Best way to keep in touch over the weekend is Twitter. This isn't a plug... it just saves me having to find wi-fi access all the time. So: http://twitter.com/pauldenchfield See you soon! Cheers, Paul
  5. Hey - new blog post up, along with a clip of the primer that went out today... :-( www.pauldenchfield.com However... :-) --> New ticket challenge is up: http://www.silburngriggsmining.com/projectfia/ Paul
  6. The moment is approaching. We need to all text Radio 1 before 11.45 and warn them not to broadcast the FIA primer. Txt 81199 now! Cheers, Paul
  7. Just posted some news - we need to get our arses in gear sharpish. Check the blog for the latest. Still no sign of the ticket challenge on Cyrus's site today - and I have to go offline for the rest of the evening in a minute. Keep watching that mining site. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Cheers, Paul
  8. I'll be glad when this is all over too... ;-) Got sent some cool videophone footage from last night's ticket handout in Liverpool. Check out the blog. And I could still use your help making sense of that timetable: www.pauldenchfield.com And keep your eyes on that mining website. Bound to be another challenge going up today sometime.
  9. As I said, you can get mates in the area to pick up the tickets at the Road to Preston events - you don't have to go in person. This might be a good opportunity for you to make friends up there - its what the internet is for. :-)
  10. So, as I just mentioned over on another thread... There are 15 pairs of tickets up for grabs. You can get friends in the area to pick them up for you if you can't make it there yourself. I'd make sure it was someone you can trust, though... ;-) The main thing is to get people along to the Big Weekend who have followed this investigation for a while - yes, the real fans. You deserve those tickets, so have a go at getting them! Keep an eye on this page: http://www.silburngriggsmining.com/projectfia/ Cheers, Paul

  12. Just uploading a new video to the blog... saw some amazing things inside Radio 1 this evening. Take a look. The vid should be ready in the next few minutes: www.pauldenchfield.com.
  13. ...and I somehow think it isn't this one, despite what MySpace's 'Frozen Indigo Angel' might claim. ;-) http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o143/CheatKing/FIA.jpg Paul
  14. Speak of the devil. ;-) Sorry for the pause. Was hoping something might come of the Big Weekend emails, but hey, I can't wait forever... Besides, there's plenty of other stuff to be working on now. Major shake-up over at the BBC. Check out the new video over on the blog: http://pauldenchfield.typepad.com/paul_denchfield/2007/05/shake_up.html
  15. Hello to all the new-comers to the hunt! Paul here. If you're looking for the low-down on the whole FIA thing, the best place to start is probably the set of videos on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=0A7BC4F75836EB76 or a similar set on Dailymotion at http://www.dailymotion.com/group/54625/1. And of course there's also www.pauldenchfield.com. Cheers, Paul
  16. Morning all - I've put a clearer electronic version of that wallpaper up on the blog now. Maybe it will help...? Anyway, here it is: http://pauldenchfield.typepad.com/paul_denchfield/2007/05/watching_the_wa.html Cheers, Paul
  17. And yes, I'm ****ed off that nobody apparently saw anything, but there's that much building work going on round here - even on a bank holiday - it looks like nobody noticed an extra bloke or two. That probably covered up the noise as well. The police said they'd ask around, but they didn't seem all that fussed about it.
  18. I've gone into my work studio in Waterloo - sadly yes the internet cafe was shut. And it gives me a chance to see how much of my work was backed up here and how much I've just lost forever.
  19. I'd taken the camera with me to the BBC. And thanks for the sympathy.
  20. Tim - I should have listened to you. My place has been trashed. My laptop and drives have been taken. They smashed up my kitchen, wrecked the living room and left a properly insulting calling card. I've been dealing with this for the last few hours... just watch the video. http://pauldenchfield.typepad.com/paul_denchfield/2007/05/wrecked.html Happy ****ing holiday. Paul
  21. Of course he does Myspace, fictional politicians will stoop to any level to get votes! But you know, it's Myspace one day, next it's Bebo, then where are you? I'll have a think about it anyway.
  22. You guys are way ahead of me, I was about to mention my new blog post - http://pauldenchfield.typepad.com/paul_denchfield/2007/05/hidden_bbc_diag.html . Definitely mysterious. Don't have many more leads though, what with Lucas Flaherty fired and 'Jane' gone all quiet. Anyway, that SMS number is real - I got a message from Jono just before 1pm today telling me to join Myspace. Can't say I fancy it that much, it looks like a heap of crap really and I prefer Facebook, but maybe it's worth doing.
  23. Bex - cheers for the 'smelly' text - I'm guessing that was you. ;-) Just a thought for anyone who's texting: can you add your name or something as well, so I know who it's coming from? Cheers, Paul
  24. Morning - just a quickie. There were some pretty traumatic events overnight at the BBC. I've blogged about it and emailed some of you. There's a video up now: http://pauldenchfield.typepad.com/paul_denchfield/2007/05/rumbled.html Drop me a mail if you have any news or thoughts. Cheers, Paul
