It's the first-Friday after XMas syndrome!

I got asked to stop "shanking" someone on the bus the other day, and threatened over it. Any ideas what it means?!

Alrite Treacle!! I am here How are we all? Had nice days? I am still wet from standing in the rain and waitin for the bus outside college. It always rains on Fridays when the bus doesn't come!

Buses are boring - when college is 5 mins away and yet takes 35 minutes on an un-reliable bus

Did that newsreader see my post or something - she took it from the cost angle this time!!! [i am, obviously, talking about Tulip or whatever her name is and the driving lessons story]

Well I'm 17 in 12 days so... I wanna!!

100 hours of tuition? I'm just gonna start learning, and it's going to be expensive enough as it is. How the hell is anyone gonna afford it? At £20 per lesson, that's £2k just for the lessons. Then there's the £2-3k insurance and then £500-1k ish for the car. And then the on-going overly expensive and highly taxed fuel. Argh!!

Alrite I've never heard of them turning themselves on. I did get confused by em a few times when I tried to move them the other week. Kept putting them down to turn them off again, and then try and move them. It's a never ending circle!! And someone looks a bit relaxed on webcam in the studio?

Mine was trying to stop me using my £150 coffee machine and use the kettle instead, becuase it makes "a mess." It makes a mess on the drip tray. The drip tray designed to catch the drips of coffee. Is this a problem? :roll:

Poor guy if he hasn't had time to practice. It's difficult enough to do, I suppose - but Journalists "fit in" to time slots all the time, it's part of the skill, isn't it? How would local opt-outs work otherwise? It's not difficult when you know what you're doing ... In my opinion anyhow.

I wondered if it was intentional - but it didn't seem like it?

Oh well I'm used to Digital Spy and tv forum so it's reallly reallly friendly here in comparison!! I've been reading the forum for a while - and just wanted to say something about Scott's voice today, so I joined! It's better to stay quite small, imo - you lose your lovelyness if you get too big.

It's just the lack of going quiet when he finishes a sentence, like most people do. Is this me being an over-sensitive English Language student? Oh - and Hi to everyone who's said hi. It's such a friendly forum over here!!

I did think she sounded a bit happy. It was just the texts that seemed - odd! Is it just me or does Scott talk differently when he's not live? He seems to not "end" sentences in tone the same?? I dunno, maybe I'm imagining it!
