  1. I'd hate to see David Tennant leave, but it's going to happen one day obviously. I just don't think it'll happen yet, I have a feeling (I'm gonna feel like such a goon if he does go at the end of this season).

Let's face it, if DT actually is leaving at the end of the run, than RTD and team have done a wonderful job of keeping it under wraps. It would be an excellent surprise (in a sad way...if that makes any sense).

I think his severed hand has something to do with the resolution. We got a few poigniant shots of it through the episode. I'm not good with theories though, so god knows how it'll all pan out!

What about the fact that a 'faithful companion' is gonna die?

  2. There's two more 48 hour strikes going ahead in the next two weeks. So if you've ordered your Live Lounge and Radio 1 CDs or the Moyles book you could be waiting a little longer...

    • Thursday 4th October (12pm) to Saturday 6th October (12pm)
    • Monday 8th October (4am) to Wednesday 10th October (4am)
    • And then "an unspecified programme of weekly strikes" from the 15th October.

They're seriously taking the p*ss now. Judging by the post office in my town, they don't seem to work enough hours as it is without all these days off work. I might start striking at Budgens too, I need a few days off...

    I wholeheartedly disagree.

    1) Postmen and women work bloody hard, they work more than enough hours during all weathers. Some have to walk miles and miles in a day. Every day. I don't think I could do that, especially in light of the cr*ppy weather we've been having recently. Not to mention the early starts, which of course have changed from today but still they have to be at work for 6am now, I think.

    2) They're being dictated to by a couple of fatcats in an office somewhere who are so out of touch with the reality of working for the postal service that they think nothing of reducing the postmen's pensions and once again raising the retirement age, among other things.

    3) True it's an (unpaid) few days off, unless you're out on the picket line. Which in my town, is most of the workers.

I just think people should cut them a bit of slack instead of being pre-occupied with their precious letters and parcels.

  3. Harsh, reading people's diaries.

OK I admit it, I used to read my sisters diary.

And I used to keep my own avidly, but now I'm old and lazy so don't. Don't know if she read mine as well. Wouldn't be surprised!

  4. No I don't have a problem with gay people, one of my childhood friends is gay, he's a lovely guy, no different to a straight guy. Sexuality doesn't make you any different, all people should innately have the same rights such as marriage, kids etc. in my opinion.
