Mine is The end of 2002 My neighbour had told me about the top 40 but he meant the pepsi chart. I was trying to find the signal he said. I shouted down i think ive got it? He says no wrong signal i said i dont care i like the number 40 song! Don't wanna admit what it was. And from there on i loved Radio 1. When Wes took over i could't miss a single show. That was the only show i listened to. Occasionaly i would listen to Dave Pearce on weekdays for some reason. Then came listening to Colin & Edith on a Sunday morning in the bath. Then at the end of 2003 i heared trailers for The breakfast revolution begining in January. Fastly Moyles became my fave at Radio 1. I have never looked back. Good times.
What are your memories of radio 1?

Me and my girlfriend listen to the show listen to the show every sunday. We are in Hospital Radio and host the chart show on monday nights. So we try to write every song down on Sunday nights. We get very annoyed when they skip it!
Please play the Top 40 in full when Laura takes over!
