    A box at the bottom which blends in with the page, advertising a specific show not a random clashing logo at the top with no explanation. But I was meaning in general not just on the website: you don't get 6 music simulcast or 'Like this visit us over on 1xtra' Or should I say 6music

    There's been quite a few 6 Music shows on Radio 2 in fact, and plenty of adverts for 6 Music too.

    Not that it matters because the relationship between 2 and 6 is not meant to be the same as the relationship between 1 and 1Xtra.

    its a fascinating story....to start with no-one should object to a reasonable comment or criticism about a band or musician, and I cant see what would be wrong in giving the band the comments and text numbers of people who do make a comment. On one level we should be accountable for what we say and do, even online

    Its a huge shame that Dappy couldnt cope with the criticism and felt the need to send such inappropriate texts to this stupid woman.

    However I dont think R1 can ignore this kind of behaviour, I do wonder what kind of consequences will need to be put into place. Ban Dappy and his band for a period of time? Add a discalimer or comment about cyber bullying every time one of their songs gets played? Make Dappy make a public apology on Radio 1, acknowledging how unacceptable it is to issue death threats?

    I think they have to stop playing/associating themselves with N-Dubz. To continue playing their records when it's been proven that the lead band member is a massive bully cannot sit alongside the good anti-bullying stuff they try to do. However I think they will continue to promote the band and I think that's very disappointing.

    Its also makes me laugh thats its the old Radio 1 voices, the scottish bloke is back, you'd have thought somebody might have updated it! Its start with Razorlight....

    You may have also noticed the voiceover referred to 'Listen Again' rather than the iPlayer, which of course was some way away from being properly launched for TV, let alone radio.

    Friday's hasn't worked either so I doubt it. The iPlayer has been quite poorly the last week I believe.

    I would imagine it was because 2 people died yesterday on the same mountain Chris and the team climbed. Although the news hadn't broke at the time it may seem insensitive or something.

    yeah, i wasn't keen on the satc movie. i'm a huge fan of the tv show and i thought that the film was too long and predictable. felt like they were really looking for stories to tell rather than it all being very natural. but it does have all the usual satc stuff - shoes, laughs, tears etc - so on the surface there's enough to keep you going!

    podcast ain't gonna happen, karpenter. that's mark kermode's terrain.

    and yes, i briefly presented a show with natalie off of showbiz news.

    Thanks for your reply James. That's a shame as i don't get to listen to you live and mainly rely on podcasts for my things like this.

    I already get MK's great podcast which you used to appear on quite often but i haven't heard you in ages. You are definitely better than the other replacements they have and i hope you'll be back. Is there any chance of that happening?
