Haha, get the pitch forks, we'll march on Great Portland Street!
No, I did get tickets. Unfortunately I didn't get any till Friday night, and subsequently I took the choice an ICT deadline on Monday was more important. Had I have known earlier nothing would have stopped me.
Hmmm... One believes that not one but two angels from the north appeared early last week and were ignored.

lol - Anyone else think we should start a Paul Denchfield appreciation society?
The new savior of Radio 1... assuming he doesn't get wrecked at big weekend and forget all about this bloke he's been chasing for the last month. That would be funny!!!
-
Pfft Paul got tickets to the Big Weekend, and he's only been running a website for a month...
F**K the Kaiser Chiefs... I want tickets so that I can meet Denchfield.

BBC Radio 1, You could have made it less predictable...
Ah yes, less predictable. Because when the words FROZEN INDIGO ANGEL appeared in Scotts Vodcast we all knew 4 weeks later we'd be chasing agents to a pub in Liverpool where the Beatles used to drink, quoting Lennon and getting a pair of tickets that 470,000 unfortunate people couldn't get. I think I predicted that second post
Anyone know what happens next?
Anyone go and meet the agent last night?

I got pretty fed up at one point - think we all did and many still are. It's a different thing being fed up with an annoying alternative reality game - I never said I was fed up with OBW itself or didn't want to go. I can't think of anything I'd rather do at the moment as it happens. (Bit of Jim'll fix it there, maybe he could get me passes? ha ha)
I think this whole think has had us feeling lots of emotions over the weeks. boboboboed off, confused, intrigued, excited, amused... Thats why i love it. You can be in it on many levels. There are lots of people playing it because it is a game and no other reason. There are others that are just in it for some sort of prize. And there are many none active members who are just loving the whole drama side of it.
People play Xbox games, playstation games etc and win nothing but love the play elements. People love to watch dramas with out the ability to help shape the story or interact with characters. This you can play for fun, play to win, watch passively, interact, even star in. Tonight, people traveling to Liverpool, meeting an agent and collecting tickets really did take this whole thing to a new level. For those who did it, I'm sure it must have been a great experience... even watching the webcam was pretty good.

so paul realistically do you think any one from here who has followed this since day one will be able to make the north west
This story has had more twists an turns over the last few weeks so I'd be shocked if it all comes to an end with the ticket giveaway.

Hey guys, I've been away for the weekend, so would anyone be kind enough to fill me in on any developments? I've read Paul Denchfield's blog, but has anything major happened on this thread?
You're having a giraffe!!! Check pauls blog and read the last couple of pages here.

I think Gil quite fancies Paul. She told me earlier!
Denchfield is my hero!!!

So Frozen Indigo Angel is a folder. Who saw that one coming.
Question is What is in the folder?
Something Big Weekend Related? (Evens)
The manuscript for the next season of Laura's diary? (10 - 1)
The chopped up bits of Mr Khan? (50 - 1)
Handy Andy's guide to removing hinges on closed doors? (100 - 1)
-
ooooooooooooooooh maybe whoever cracks it,gets a big cash prize at the end! im game! lol...still have my suspicisions on scott though, god knows what lengths that boy wil go to for a laugh lol. he is funny though

Are you eligible? surely BBC staff can't be in the draw?
Fair cop guv... I've updated my avatar to a picture of me at work this afternoon.
-
You'll be damned to find someone that even got an e-mail!
I got the email...nothing in it...apart from telling me I didn't have tickets that is. I think I was more disappointed there were no clues in there than the fact that I didn't get a ticket. I'm holding out hope on these clues leading us to tickets...
-
Did anyone from here get tickets?
-
Paul seemed reluctant to start his own myspace until people asked him to...probably because they do take time and effort to maintain.
-
That seems like a random question lol, why do you ask?
Does anyone recognise Neo?
-
Hi Amy... welcome aboard. It will probably eat up a good hour of you evening but you should go through all the vids on youtube..even higgypops (they're pretty funny).
