Here's something to throw out there. My friend Katrina cannot watch TV if there is an element of suspense to it. She has Wikipediaed all of Glee because she doesn't like watching something she doesn't know what will happen. She has to research soaps and movies too. Is that normal? She says the X Factor results show is a nightmare. Is it just her who doesn't like suprises and twists. Same in real life. You have to tell her she's having a party.
it's not normal but its not just her. my sister does it and taunts me by saying she knows what happens every time something is on.

matt edmondson taking over as a cover presenter must put bosses in a difficult position with what to do with dev. they must have wanted a presenter like greg when they brought dev to radio 1 but haven't quite managed it.

we've not had a podcast for weeks! they used to have the podcasts on at 12pm when they used to do breakfast. whats going on?

i think it was too scripted. i think they should have done something else on christmas day and done the tinsel takeover live for a bit longer. i just think with fifteen minutes you can't be crazy and serious and come out of it without the sort of opinions people have left. if i tuned into scott mills for the first time and just heard him playing with a voice machine i would probably think the same about him. you need to hear a bit more.

Why would any local radio station want to promote a presenter on a national station? :confused:

the surgery on sunday 22nd november is "radio 1's surgery with aled and max". max is also presenting on sunday 29th november a relationship special. is this the end of aled on the surgery and is it to do with tomorrow's announcement?

yes if scott takes over it would be good but scott and social networks doesn't work (myspace and the facebook page - lost interest on both!). i think they are just after it due to its popularity - the carol mcgiffin stuff was funny. it will be good for authenticity to have scott on it but i think it won't be as informative
