It took them 6 days to get up, surely its gotta be longer than 4hours to get down. I thought it was going to take them a day or so to get back.

Glad to hear Rachel & Andy Parfitt also made it.

Roughly 12hrs to get back down. My apologies the 4hrs was between camps. I may still be wrong but the audio is here:

Listen to Chris talkin to vernon after they reached the summit.

Cotton Tweets On

According to the Daily Star, Fearne C. has been glued to networking Site "Twitter" since returning from mount Kili!! Fearne has posted that she weirdly misses the mountain!!

The giving away of items by R1 is an excellent idea, in order to raise yet more money! Well done. :-)

Just watching the programme on BBC 1.

Moyles should have released a song before he went up that mountain. All the singers seem to have got their music playing in the background of the documentary, could have got a bit of money go his way if he'd done one.

I was waiting for one of the parodies to turn up, to be honest.

I'm so very proud of him. Well, all of them, but especially Chris.

Wanted to add that 8.7 million people watched the programme last night.

Radio 1 Total (Complete) = 1.8 Million.

Complete Total (Complete) = 3.4 Million.

I found the mountain far more barren than I had expected. I'd expected more rainforest type areas.

Some of the climbers, including Cheryl Cole and Gary Barlow had tea with Gordon Brown on Thursday. Because of their efforts with the mountain, the PM announced he will give a further £2m to combat malaria.

Comic Relief raised overall £57+ million pounds. Well done!!

Right, at this point I am now quiting this topic - goodbye topic! :-)
