I love Jo Whiley but Sara is definitely my favourite female DJ. Weird how I used to find her very annoying when I started listening to R1.

I agree Paula- Coxy used to annoy me cos I think she was a bit too loud and in-yer-face for breakfast, but I have really enjoyed her shows at the weekends, and much prefer her to Jo.

I think Sarah Improved greatly after coming back from her 1st maternity leave. It's a pity she going to do 1 day a week only though .

to be honest its like saying having a cold is better than having the flu, its not as bad but its still nowhere near ideal.

Several people I know, including myself, feel like Jo needs to stop latching onto anything that young people like in a desperate bid to delay ageing

Sara, while a LOT better than before the second baby, really needs to stop the irritating silly voice she puts on from time to time as it just makes her sound simple. The silly voice works when vernon does it, i dont think it works at all with sara.

having said that they're still a damn sight better than the verbal diahorrea that comes out the Edinburgh stations and XFM

Like Simon, I think Sara has got "something" in her personality which is warmer and kinder, and just a lot more pleasant. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Jo Whiley reminds me of an office manager : brisk, efficient, knows her stuff, yet somehow leaves me cold! Sorry!

I really like sara as well, she has an energy and intelligence about her shows. Maybe she can stay on daytimes in the 1-4 slot, and let Jo and Edith do a jobshare! Edith would have a regular partner to bounce off of, Jo could go back to talking about movies etc, and they could both work their weeks around their families...perfect!
