2 things suck today.......

1) theres great weather outside and I've got nobody to enjoy it with cos as far as I know all my mates are either at college/uni or workin :(

2) my car failed it MOT yesterday because of a sunstrip on the windscreen, yet oddly enough the same person issused a pass certificate last year with the same sunstrip on the car

(Please don't give me any stick for havin a sunstrip, I've heard it so many times before. I like it because it helped with sunlight, and had the logo of the touring car team I support and it made the car feel a little more like mine, hope that doesnt sound rude)

I drank too much last night and the club was really hot and crowded and I didn't feel amazing. And my housemate made me walk home in freezing fog, couldn't see beyond a few metres ahead, and I was wearing a short skirt and a thin top. It was quite a long way, took over half an hour.

It was fun round my friend's house but they were making me do shots of rum for some reason. Urghhh horrible. At least my 1pm lecture got cancelled.

I know the reason for a sunstrip failin an MOT (the wipers and apparantly obscuring visibility)

I'm not going to get into a debate with anyone over this, but the reason it gets on my nerves so much is its primarily on there to block out lower sunlight and it had been on the car for 1 year and 11 months (not long after I bought the car it went on) and the wipers function perfectly well, so well infact that I've not replaced them for as long as I've owned the car. As far as I'm concerned its health and safety rules throwing their weight about again and interfering in an area where simple common sense should suffce

Ah, we're trying to get my uncle's Ford Transit Tipper sorted for the MOT. Quite concerned whether it'll pass or not - spent so much money on something that really should have just been scrapped! I know nothing about stuff like that yet I'm left ordering the parts online.

are there shorter blades available for your car so the strip is legal before the re-test

Right. I spoke to my best friend this evening, and I've seriously screwed up. I've got a lot to do to make amends, But it's going to take time, because it seems to me as if he really dislikes me. And yet hes still giving me a chance... Even if it means I've got to do some serious work to make things right.

But hes worth it.

The student loans website is nearly as useless as the job centre.

I've been locked out of my Student Loans account for 2 years now. It kept telling me my Art ID was wrong. I did phone them and the Scawtish bloke said he'd unlock it for me and send me a new password in the post but they haven't. Last year I printed out all 60 or so pages of the form and filled it all in and gave it in in person. But I need to be able to log in to sort out paying it back or most likely, not paying it back for quite a while.
