Mylo & Rosie in for Dean McCullough on Monday 15th December -
I’ve voted for Greg, I think his show has sounded outstanding this year, particularly the last few months with R1 Traitors, Rogue Promises and Callum’s bedtime story to name a few. Matt and Mollie’s show also sounds excellent and absolutely flies by so I will put them in close second. In terms of the weekend, both Sam and Danni and James have reallly settled into their slots and they sound like they could have those shows for years and years if they wanted them (I wouldn’t be surprised if they all end up on weekdays at some point however)

I’d say it is a bit of a surprise that it’s Emma. She’s had to miss two different occasions of covering Sara with someone else stepping in at the last minute. She also hasn’t been used on weekend in a little while so I wasn’t sure about her. -
Maybe... she's dipped in and out of Radio 2 both as cover and with permanent slots so you never know, she might pop up again one day... No surprise that Emma has got the gig. She's been a regular cover presenter over the past few years (mostly on Saturdays for Dermot and Claudia/Romesh, and more recently for Sara Cox on drive). -

Zoe's leaving her Saturday afternoon show already after taking over the 1-3pm slot in May. Emma Willis joins Radio 2 on a permanent basis to replace her. Zoe's last show is next Saturday and she will continue to host music specials across the year for R2 and Sounds.
