Is it just me who smirks at the idea of Kerry in armed robbery? The fact Max Clifford was in charge of discussing it on Sky News this afternoon?

That's why mum's shop at iceland...

My immediate thought was 'magazine deals ahoy!'

£50 it's in LOVE IT! magazine.

Red-caroom-on-tee-side did she just say?

TOTDS seems to be on Unofficial Mills looking well disgusted!

I nearly gave the man off of AXA the Flirt Divert number earlier. My mind went blank and I couldn't remember my own number for the life of me, but the FD number was stuck in my head!

Ooh I'm actually with you on this. I learnt the Flirt Divert number so well I've been having doubts this last week that my real number starts with 07814... I was like, no, that's not right!

STALKER.

I can't believe you spent 9 hours and 40 minutes last week continuously watching Harry Potter. You freak.

And we all know at the end of the next book the suicidal song will come in handy, as HE COMMITS SUICIDE.*

The News of the World says so.

Nah, I don't think kids visit this forum...

I am loving facebook. I've met all the new people off of the UEA who are joining this year, so I'm like "hi there!". Someone wants me to meet me off of the Lebanon, haha.

I might go Waterstones on friday at midnight, open the book, stand there and shout,

"I wouldnt buy it if i was you, it's rubbish, ******* dies..."

There's an idea. I need a banner. "Harry Potter dies!" and I'll stand outside the door all day.

Hahahaha. Such a pessimist.

Like hell they're all going to all live happily ever after. Also why does Coronation Street need to alternative endings (I liked the Blanche one) and yet JK Rowling doesn't?

Aww, see Hannah, guys like girls who are over-weight. You've got a chance!

Did Kanye write this for Princess Diana? I notice he sung it at her concert.

I swear everyone in London looks like Paolo Nutini. I thought he was in Starbucks on Friday, but then I realised it couldn't be him, he was drinking coffee not wine.

    • As positives go, at least Danny said what the last song played was and upcoming song played was. Plus I guess in that link are perhaps ideas for content (asking listeners to come up with bands from things around them, things that have happened to them this week). That's where's the positives end. It comes across as no thought has gone into what Danny will say next. It gives me proper flashbacks to some Jamie Laing links (especially that one show where he was unexpectedly solo). It's ironic that for all the duos and trios on the station - the one show and DJ that is positively crying out for another DJ to help show them the ropes is left all solo. At least with Jamie Laing they learnt their lesson and he's not been left solo since.
    • How he was just faded out at the end of the link reminded me of the Oscars music fading you out
    • RPReplay_Final1713612277.mp4   You’re welcome
    • At a time when Radio 1 has surely lost listeners to Capital at Breaktast you’d be trying to protect the station so people switch back.  Certainly yesterday I didn’t switch back to Radio 1 at all.
    • Was abysmal…Surely Danny can’t be a contender for anything permanent when the new schedules are locked in I.e Matt and Mollies slot
    • Alexandra Burke creating the phrase 'Elephant In The Room' whooooooooo
    • Zane Versus.... Whooooooooo. Do You Do Fridays? WhooOOOooo.
    • The Capital Breakfast show is right up my street so far - such a fun listen. You've both been great on Radio 1 and are sounding excellent again on Capital A few quickfire questions: You've both been part of some great pairings on radio and on podcast - what goes into making a duo or trio work and sound great on air? Also, Chris - were there ever any discussions about you moving over to Radio 2 with Scott or had the Global offer already come first? Also how do you both go about managing that split between your radio 'you' and the private 'you'? You share a lot on air but also there's some understandably some stuff you keep private (famously Jordan doesn't 'talk about those things'). And how do you make sure if you're having a miserable day or are a bit low that it doesn't come across too much on air?
    • What a nightmare link at 11.15am this morning. Spent 30 seconds waffling about the name of The Last Dinner Party as if he’d never heard it before, then started mentioning Capital and the license fee, and how it’s been used to pay for him to be there, and was then cut off by the start of the next song.
    • Have been reading this all week. She's such a brave woman. Just got to the chapter where she explains why she missed Scott's leaving event at Radio 1. She talks about leaving Radio 1 because her mum's health got worse, and wanting to quietly leave radio at 44 just how she first arrived on the airwaves at 18. Worth a read!
    • Frozen Indigo Angel... Whoooooooo?!!
    • Did it take a lot of tempting to go to Capital Jordan? Did you feel like you’d achieved everything you could at Radio 1 (other than breakfast)? Chris, how did your Capital move come about? Did Radio 1 want you to stay after Scott moved on?

    • I never expected to be enjoying a commercial radio Breakfast Show, but this is a good listen and less adverts than I might have expected.
    • It's got more of a Fri/ Sat feeling to it, for me. But there's nothing inherently wrong with the show.
