Kuyt is hilariously ****e at the moment, whats happened to him?

God knows but I wish he'd snap out of it. Send for paul mckenna i say or blame rafas rotation. There's quite a few threads on it on the football365 forums (a darker and less fluffy place than here) some are actually rather funny. Oh well theres always the carling cup :shock::rolleyes:

if rafa dosent sort it out i think he'll be up the road. yes he has done well at liverpool and he won the champions leauge, something the other top 3 cant do. but that team was mostly houilers old squad so i always give partial credit to him as well.

crouch was acting a bit cocky a few weeks ago but he is making a better impression than the other strikers on the feild when he comes on at the moment, especially kuyt.

Wonder which team will turn up tomorrow night v Bestikas. Didn't realise that they basically have to win that or they wont qualify from the group stages. Wouldn't surprise me if Riise, Crouch and Kewell leave in January.

The football365 forum is hilarious, shame I can't register there because you need a work/uni email address for some ridiculous reason.

apparently harry kewell still plays football. him and crouch i see leaving in the summer at the latest. and hyypia retiring.

i think riise will come good, when they bought him in 2001 he couldn't stop, then he went off the boil until the end of houliers reign and the start of rafas when he started to be good again. i would stick him in midfeild and get a new left back in the transfer window. riise is still better at left back than aurelio and arbeloa (who is playing out of postion becuase he cant lace finnans boots). and with hyypia coming to the end, agger cant really go and play there either.

You don't fancy a job as assistant liverpool manager do you as since the last one left rafa has gone nuts and needs someone to whisper in his ear.

Just finished watching Celtic beating Benfica 1-0, wasnt an overly exciting game with little chances created. One of the shocking challenges in the game reminded me of Roy Keane on Alf Inge Haaland it was so bad.

Scott Brown tried to carry on but ended up on a heap on the ground before walking off, quite surprised his leg didnt snap in this tackle.

once again andy gray knows everything, i wish he would pi*s off. bad tackle though, haaland fliped into the air unlike scott brown. if he dug into the floor like that his leg would of probably of came off.

that just ended up as a kick around for liverpool tonight.

  • 2 weeks later...

oh well. the f*cking scumbag english c*nts got what was deserved, but what a chance thrown away. now the scots have someone to cry with. and dont be suprised if 'yes man mcclarren' keeps his job. but would you believe it!? people are actually carrying on with their lives and are going out this weekend! unlike the papers are going to make out. saves a job of going there and not getting past the group stage anyway.

Who cares? Football is boring  most sports are only interesting to play, not watch. I mean, take golf. I love to hit the sweet spot in a shot, but I can't stand watching it on TV. It's like watching paint dry. Actually, watching paint dry is probably preferable to watching golf...

The most heroic act is the one that no-one knows about.

well if there is a massive terrorist attack in london later that will round of the scots' greatest day in fashion. at least they realise as well not to come on sky sports news singing about how they have qualified and how they hate the english before they played italy. where as we half expected what happened last night to be honest.

and i was wrong about mcclarren, that didn't take long at all.

    • Now in it's third week, the new Capital Breakfast Show seems to be settling down well and there are more of the informal, random Jordan topics appearing.  Though it is clear he wants to be seen slightly differently. It really is a very decent listen.
    • Just Vick and Katie on Wednesday (and presumably Thursday as well).
    • Unless people can provide a source for this information then it should be treated as false.   Why would Jordan sign a contract with the BBC in the autumn when he agreed a deal with Global?  He could have left in August and not had to deal with the BBC.  Vick who doesn't really like Global why would she recommend him to go there and then warn him in her post to be careful?   It's been whispered from October that Roman was thinking of going.  Roman and Jordan have the same management team.  Why would they put Jordan in a place where he would have to battle with the BBC.  They could have agreed a deal with Global for Jordan in the summer.  They might have had to pay first couple months but they would do they to secure him.  If they had known about Roman wanting to leave they could have paid Roman off to get Jordan on air quicker.  Global would also not had legal around BBC contract to deal with and would not have had to pay the BBC to release Jordan.  None of what people say makes sense and if it did happen the way people say then BBC are not the stupid ones.  It really is not a good look to be talking with Global for 6 months, to then sign a contract with a the BBC, continue to talk to Global behind BBC's back after signing and then couple of months later want to leave and to throw a hissy fit as the BBC are not giving you what you want when you want it. That not a good light for Jordan or his management.
    • Wow, surprised he signed a new contract in September but it says a lot about Jordan that he continued to a very high standard throughout last summer/autumn if this was all going on in the background.
    • They knew Roman wanted to leave early last year but wasn't officially announced but he gave them time to sort replacement. Found and offered Jordan a deal in June or July and needed time to get Jordan out of Contract at bbc and roman to do notice  Jordan had dinner with Katie Vick and Arielle to ask advice and all said he should go.
    • And they told Radio 4’s Feedback that it was an ‘experiment’ to ‘look at the best way to serve young listeners’ but reaffirmed that 280 hours commitment.
    • I doubt he wanted to go to Global if a slot before he found out kemp was leaving.
    • We're hoping to get some answers in the coming weeks
    • From what he's saying on the Pod he's been trying to get out of r1 for a while. Looks like he needed to wait for a show on global to be available. Jordan had bbq last summer with most of thr global execs and he's referenced the deal was in place then. Obviously the hold up was r1 being stubborn
    • All seems to be back to normal this morning.
    • Indeed and Jordan was already friends with Sian Welby, Will Manning and Jimmy Hill.
    • It's great to see those friendships still thriving. I think the days of Radio 1 DJs and Capital DJs being unable to co-exist is long over. You used to either be firmly BBC or commercial, and you don't get the sense that's the case anymore.
    • Maia Beth will be presenting the Radio 1 Happy shows from the 27th April replacing Katie.  https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001ydkr
    • Vick and Jordan together on Insta (with Ariel’s) in Ibiza. You do imagine Jordan’s ex colleagues have a very different attitude to him than management. Comments on Help! And very subtle comments on Capital Breakfast suggest Jordan was frustrated with Radio 1 / BBC management.
    • I can name quite a few people on this forum who would be better presenters than Danny.
