the scotland result was amazing, i thought they may of been able to bag a draw but that was something else. well done to them.

and michael owen is apsolute fire right now, that second goal was stunning. who needs pace? pah, i think he is better than he was when he was 18 in some ways. he can hit a ball a lot, lot harder anyway. he will smash that bobby charlton record with some luck, he deserves it. no-one had a bad game anyway for england, and gareth barry was incredible once again.

on the grid.

this is the best form he has been in for ages, years infact. the last two years have been blighted with bad luck for him but he is due some luck right now. he has worked very hard to get back to where he is, and the added bonus of strength as well i think. if he is just carefull and smart then i dont think there should be too many problems, i am looking forward to getting duff and barton back as well and then we should be firing all around.

well this is a little shocking for me to find on sky sports news at this time:-

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/chelsea/7003912.stm

but it says mourinho went of his own accord but it looks like he was pushed or he had a massive fall out with abramovich. they still wont win the champions leauge anyway, but i would find it more of an acheivment to win two premership titles back to back amongst the fa and two carling cups. especially the leauge because it takes consistancy to get that instead of dramatic nights like in europe. i think chelsea are in over their heads, man u's start was worse than chelseas this season, but you dont see fergie losing his job.

good riddance anyway! we can hear more of fergie moaning about the english now!!!11 etc

on the grid.

Just seem the highlights, What fantastic build up play by Alan Hutton for Charlie Adam's equalising goal. Hutton is really flourishing under Walter Smith as manager.

one of the funniest managers around i think, everyone else is boring compared. i'll never forget the 2-2 draw at the nou camp and him going mad on the touchline. the look on fluffy and co's faces topped it all off.

Was that the match where Carvalho hauled down Valdez, allowing Terry a clear shot at goal? Or the match with the "Lampard Luck" cross goal which was actually so amazing and memorable because it is rare to see him scoring without the aid of a wild deflection?
