Jo Whiley Swearing?

Heard some of her programme. She seemed a bit freaked out by her guests, but was also flirting with them. What did she say though? Missed that bit. You can use a few asterisks, I have a good imagination.

Poor Jo,

Total slip of the tongue. Bet she's mortified; she's as scrupulous about swearing on her show as the Ready Steady Cookers are about washing hands after touching chicken.

You're all going to lynch me for saying this, but wouldn't put it past the mischievous Scott or Chappers for 'planting' rude word in her script. Karma payback time again.

RADIO 1’s Jo Whiley apologised yesterday after she accidentally swore live on air.

The DJ, 41, made the slip when she read out a text.

She tried to say East Kent Cup — but got her tongue twisted and said “East **** Cup.”

Listener Tony Griffiths, 23, from Folkestone, Kent, said: “At first I couldn’t believe my ears.”

Flustered Jo cut to a song — then apologised when she came back on air.

Radio 1 said: “Jo had a slip of the tongue. No offence was intended.”

I don't really understand why it's such a big story. I doubt most of these media types were even listening.
