It looks like Fearne may have been sounded out about replacing Grimmy on breakfast because she says in an interview that she doesn't want it.She says she's happy to do her 10am slot for the rest of her time on Radio 1-which could be many years by the sound of things! She also says that grimmy will be doing breakfast for 'a long time to come'. So if Grimmys figures take a nose dive (which looks less likely after this weeks RAJARS), it looks like its between Greg James Matt Edmondson and maybe Dev to take over

If anyone took over breakfast, it will probably be Greg. Would make more sense to put the current, second most popular time slot presenter on breakfast, then replace Greg with Dev or Matt. Although, like you say, with Grimmy's improving RAJAR's, perhaps this scenario won't happen for a few more years.

Did she actually think that now she was still even within a chance of hosting the RADIO 1 BREAKFAST SHOW!? maybe with someone else... But for someone who is now a mother and hene needs more time off why should she be hosting one of the most famous youth radio shows in the world! Sorry to be really mean but her show is heavily lacking in features and is basically just a playlist with her saying that was this and this is that, you're listening to radio 1... Best of luck to her but sorry... Really like grimmy but would think by the end of this year he will have finished as breakfast show host, thnk he would be better on drive time anyway.. INMHO sorryyy for the rant guys!

What makes you think he would be finished within the year?

Coopers 2 year plan, think he's the all guy, I actually like his show but do thnk that it could be improved with a better production team! A good producer improves a show p, hence Scott mills show is so good thanks to TOTDS and cara!
