Do any R1 presenters not like each other?

On that basis I'm guessing Dev isn't so popular as he doesn't seem to do much with the rest of the dj's and doesn't handover but that's more likely a handover with Newsbeat and cheesy song seems a bit silly. When Annie Mac covered Fearne last year she had a bit of a strop over a boobs comment but seemed to get over it. Aled and Max then 1xtra and cover for surgery had a bit of a row on air once.

I think Dev isn't popular either. I remeber once they were doing a blind date afternoon and Sarah-Jane (?) (1xtra) said she was excited to meet Dev as he was so handsome and then after said she thought he needed to work on his personality!

Also for his one year anniversary on early breakfast, everyone said he was nicer on air then in real life.

There are bound to be those who don't get on, although I think for the most part they do seem to all get on based on some of the stories we hear about them seeing eachother out of work. Unless its a publically known dislike of eachother they probably are professional enough not to let it come over on air when there really isn't a need for it.

I think the problem with Dev is he doesn't get to do much interaction unless he's filling for another show because the news/cheesy song comes on at the end of early breakfast, and I might be wrong but are the shows before hand not often prerecorded? I would have thought that with him being at uni/college doesn't mean he would have much time for socialising with other presenters either.

If memory serves me right did this not have something to do with people's eyes wandering when they're in relationships? I may be thinking of another moment, but I'm sure I heard it being talked about on the breakfast show a day or so later. Max said something about no guy should dare check any other girl out if he's her boyfriend as he should only want to look at her and Aled disagreed. I'm sure someone will confirm that or not.

Not impressed with censorship

If ryd2603 read the quote properly cxx666 mentioned the shows BEFORE which are sometimes live and sometimes taped. Benji and Gilles Peterson are normally live I think but don't think Mike Davies is and Annie I think but might be wrong varies between live and recorded.

Final mention on Dev he seems to get on well with Edith when they've handed over or co-presented

Yeh, twitter interaction definitely a good clue.

And, a bit controversial, but I have ALWAYS had the suspicion that Mills STILL prefers Laura to Becky. I think Becky has been invited more and more into "mills world", but I don't think she is the 100% welcome in the way Laura totally was.

And as to Mills and Moyles interaction on Twitter? Er.... it ain't happening, is it.

Greg and Scott really do seem to get on well (despite the competition for the Brekkie slot as well), which is surprising. Would have thought there would have been more of an "edge" there, but there doesn't seem to be.

Having heard the Cotton sniping almost continually about Greg James yesterday whilst at U.E.A., I would say those 2 really ain't the best of mates.

Always have the impression Fearne looks down on Greg James.

It didn't make for the most pleasant of listening at times, although it was smashing to hear Coldplay, and their jokes about playing any gig (even the smallest of bars).

I was reading y/day that Coldplay were hynotised in order to help them with their latest album?! I mean, to bring out the best in their creativity. Yesterday's 'Daily Record', I think? Interesting that a Band have to go that far, or think they do.

I heard it aswell but Greg said on his show she's a friend and in previous shows he's talked about going out with her to clubs and stuff. But I can see what you mean, Scott and Greg seem to get on V.Well although Scott refuses to do a handover.

I get the feeling Moyles doesn't like all of his colleagues, the ones who have been around for a while like Scott, Coxy & Edith. Although he seems to gets on with Greg, I remember that he called up Fearne for pretending to wear the same clothes for a week for last years student tour. Also never really heard him talk to Dev, Scott tends to when he covers breakfast.

I never knew Scott refused to do a handover?! WOW - dunno how I missed that.

Maybe yesterday with the Cotton was meant as just banter, but Fearne just seemed to go on and on and on..... Zane Lowe actually dealt with her well, embarassing her about the fact she had been uploading videos illegally. HA!

Like you, I think Moyles tolerates people. But then, he's got the biggest position, so ain't maybe wanting to get THAT close to the competition? Who knows.

O, and I always had the impression that Scott never liked Jo Whiley.

Greg and Scott has been covered before and is generally because Scott's out having a fag or getting ready hence why there are three tracks (Greg's last song and Scott's opening two) between links. However Scott often gets involved in a handover when something specific is happening or with the Feet up Friday crew.

Really?! I always had the impression that they were very good friends off-air. There was always cross-show banter between them and IIRC mentions of nights out etc.

In fact, I think that the banter between Jo and Scott was so funny, entertaining and natural it seemed at one point Chris and Edith tried to 'copy' it (although I'm sure it was just a coincidence!).

Talking about presenters that don't like each other there was a little war of words between Mistajam and Capital's Andi Durrant earlier on in the week. It seems it was just a little misunderstanding though (Hard to get tone of voice across on Twitter I guess) and they're all good now.

Also, Wes Butters was (and still is) constantly taken the piss of by many on the station.

Greg seems to get on well with them all... I know that he's said in interviews before that he's really good friends with Scott, and thought of him as an older brother when he joined...

There has never been a handover with early breakfast for Chris - he has his own team and therefore doesn't need another person to talk to (a while ago they spoke to Dev for a bit at about 6:45)

Jo and Scott got on really well... remember the whip in her bedroom with Mika? The paintballing or the tank over car incident?

I think Edith may not like people though...
