Is it just me, or is the radio 1 gives you goosebumps message, one of the most truly pathetic ideas Radio 1 have had in a long time?

Poorly constructed, and executed. I have no idea what is supposed to be good about the feature of replaying old clips, and not a single item has given me even a slight bit of piloerection.

What do you all think?

It's alright, like some of the old live longues was quite good, haven't really heard much of the other goosebumps things. Apart from the little thing from Scott's show the other day.

Doesn't give me goosebumps so much as make me feel nauseous.

Slightly off topic, but another thing on R1 that makes me seriously cringe is Fearne Cotton screeching 'Moooornin' at the Moyles team every single flipping day. Have to switch over as soon as Roy Walker has done his business to avoid it.

Yes to the Cotton thing. It's so flipping annoying! I'm almost glad I'm going back to school next week, so I don't have to listen to anymore of her show.

I feel that the mornin' thing is done ironically by the Moyles team, and Fearne doesn't get the joke... I think that Fearne doesn't hear the cow sfx everyday.

I haven't heard much of the other ideas but I didn't like the idea of using it for the live events.

I prefered the Summer Friday Thing and Six Weeks of Summer. Radio 1 Gives You Goosebumps... Live From Reading & Leeds just came across strange and long winded.

Well, it will equip you to deal with plantlife mostly, I should imagine. How trees function, how grass functions... Hopefully you may get lost in a forest one day!! :hahaha:
