BBC Radio 1 Cock-ups over Christmas

Recommended Posts

It's time for the annual thread, where you can complain about cock-ups that go on at R1 over Xmas.

Going through Greg's show:

7.30 - Dreadful! Couldn't even get it to work! 1 clip did, that was it!

8.30 - Went well! Well done Radio 1

9.30 - Same as 8.30 - No problems, excellent

I haven't bothered to upload 8.30/9.30, but here's 7.30!

And writing this I've just missed the 11AM bulletin

If anyone notices anything else, post it here

Latest additions:

- Full Imaging Beds package (2009-2010)

- 2009 re-voice by Music4 (DRY+WET IDs, chart numbers 1-40)

- BBC Top Gear - Backing beds used in programs

Radio Leicester had a similar thing this morning when my alarm went off (no idea why the clock radio was tuned to that), they played Don't Get Me Wrong by The Pretenders at 6:45 then again at 6:55... I know that because I heard it end the first time, then nodded off and the second playing woke me up too.

Professional eater of puppy dogs, baby heads and killer of grannies...

For the headlines, they used a lighter mix of the news headlines bed, again, as with the 2007+2009 packages, there are around 5 news ins, about 10 news beds, 1 sport bed, 1 weather bed, x5 news outs. There's around 10 logo stabs/FX ect, aswell as 3 entertainment news beds.

I'll try and get that clip sorted soon
