"once upon a time a Welshman walked into a bar and said to the barman'I'd like a pint please.'

and the barman said 'Sure', he pulled him a pint."

i cannot find out the point or did i catch all the right words?.

No, you probably heard it right.

I don't recall that specific one, but when Jimmy Carr was coming in there was a little feature thing about Aled not getting jokes, and he decided to write some literal ones (basically, what seemed like the beginning of a joke but the punchline actually being a sensible response to the beginning)

Another was "knock knock", "whose there?" "dont know, just open the door and find out"
