Audio Editing Software

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

I have an amazon gift voucher, and would like to buy some quality audio editing software. I like the look of this, plus it has good reviews:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-Audio-Studio-10-PC/dp/B003L51CUI/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_i

Anyone use anything else that's good/able to recommend anything?

Thanks

Latest additions:

- Full Imaging Beds package (2009-2010)

- 2009 re-voice by Music4 (DRY+WET IDs, chart numbers 1-40)

- BBC Top Gear - Backing beds used in programs

I originally used Adobe Audition for audio editing but swiftly moved to FL Studio, Audition has good mixing panels but FL Studio has easier VST import options and better library management (easy to preview sounds on the right hand side, add custom folders).

As for Sony Audio Studio 10, if you're any good at Sony Vegas editing this will be an easy work flow because most of the audio side of things are the same, good metering and timeline management, good for the price anyway. I think UK artist 'Rusko' used to use something similar (Acid maybe?) in his earlier days.

I'm not sure your purpose of the software will be but I tried to write this from all points but I use FL Studio for imaging.
