Any truth in the rumour that Mike Duce is taking over the drivetime show in September? I don't get why they swapped Grimmy and Greg when they already did that in 2004 between Chris Moyles and Sara Cox.

Because they moved him there specifically to see him until the end of his contract.
I'd imagine the new schedule in the autumn would be like this:
6am Greg
10am Clara
1pm Scott
4pm Mike.

Anyone heard the rumour he's taking over the Monday to Thursday drivetime show in September?
I liked his band Lower than Atlantis. As far as I know this is just a rumour at the moment, but I reckon Radio 1 could do with a new drivetime host.

Can't remember where I heard it now.
Anyway, I think if they were going to keep Grimmy on Radio 1, they should have kept him on breakfast. I believe that he was only swapped with Greg specifically to see him there until the end of his contract and if he's still there this time next year I'll be very surprised. I think Matt and Mollie, or Jordan North, should get the drivetime show now.
