    Green Day

and U2 when they were broadcasting their (dublin?) gigs I think
  2. The permissions can be set to allow it, but I'm guessing you don't want to set them that way?
  3. well worth a watch of a repeat if you have freeview, even if you haven't seen the rest of them. I get a feeling there will be a repeat run of the whole series, possibly just before the DVD boxset comes out in November (if it happens at all, thats probably the most likely time) for those who have missed it and don't have the single volume dvds by then.
  4. Anyone here watch it? what did ya think? I thought it was bloody good. *fuller review coming soon when I've watched the repeat either later tonight or tomorrow.
  5. Bonjour Mr Scotty welcome back.
  6. the type that travels with circuses perhaps?
  7. hahah nice picture... gotta love the jacket... or not
  8. nah I like Moyles' tv stuff more than this, even when it was bad because of callers etc, that made it funny for me. I was well p*ssed off when it was cancelled. I think if this gets the chop now, it should be replaced with reverse-a-word
  9. so far what I've seen is moments of genius (like leaving 'celebrity' slapper Jodie Marsh hanging from the ceiling, and celebrity pub lock in with big brother style commentary) and then moments of absolute crap (like wheres the beef). a very mixed show... but very unpredictable too
  10. ah if there's radio coverage i'll make sure my phone is fully charged and i have my handsfree kit with me, lol.

    Newsbeat

Can't honestly say I take too much notice of the music on newsbeat, but it's pretty much somehow related to the item running as far as I can tell (i.e they run an item about someone in music, it's usually snippets of one of their songs in the background). That said, as far as I'm concerned nothing would be lost if it wasn't there at all.

    Proms

hahah I remember going to most of my exams in tshirts and tracky bottoms coz I went for runs after to get rid of the tension built up in there, lol.
  13. Don't think i'll be making a conscious effort to arrange my life around it or anything, but if i happen to switch over to it, I won't be turning it off.

    Proms

Much as I hate to sound stereotypical, i've never understood paying that much for something only to wear it once. Wedding is about the only exception i can think of, but most other occasions hiring stuff should be fine. I also know a few women who have more pairs of shoes than they will ever need, and i know for a fact that only a few pairs actually get worn, the others just sit there in the shoe rack.
  17. twice a day isn't really excessive or anything, but on an average day 1 wash/shower etc should be fine. going to the gym/pool or other excercise warrants extra though, so if that is part of your average day, fair enough.

    Green Day

I like them, but I also think they're being overhyped... the reviews are giving them some very difficult standards to live up to.
  19. Anyone else here watching Johnny Vegas: 18 stone of Idiot? if yes, whaddya think of it?
  20. in the words of ezmo Woop woooooooop
  21. watching million-pound cars race around an american legendary racetrack... yup it's F1 visits yankland time, though I do wish i was watching it at the track in person. outside of that, i'm broke so my weekend will comprise sleeping and surfing the net.
  22. isn't his lightsabre a double ended 1?
  23. I wish, I'm broke til monday.... Helen: it was which version of obi-wan you named the dog after, rather than the name of the dog which surprised me.
