  1. Well that's kinda expected. If it can't sound great today, when can it sound great?
  2. oh right, thats why it starts about 7... weird thing is it still has a signal through the day but it's just a screen saying "BBC3 begins at 7" or something.
  3. I havent seen listings for BBC 3 but I wouldda thought they could open that up early to show some extra stuff, maybe highlights of the other gigs.
  4. looks that way. TV guides I've been reading suggest it'll be hyde park spread over BBC1 and 2 (switches channels about 4, as does wimbledon) the BBC1 later on has the american one.
  5. oh yeah forgot the Who were playing  2 of their better but slightly less obvious songs too (also themes to CSI: Miami and CSI: New York), the obvious ones being Pinball Wizard and My Generation IMO. Also not sure if it's an extended version or something, but the version of We won't get fooled again that I have is 8mins33secs long... and don't they only have 10 minute slots? Coldplay and Richard Ashcroft sounds interesting.
  6. it has McFly on it? that's reason enough not to show it to me.
  7. I'm guessing it'll be multiscreen in BBCi (if they can do it for wimbledon, snooker and Glastonbury...) or highlights from all of them, coming to think about it. Either way I'm not missing F1 goon Kimi Raikkonen struggling for 10th place at best* on the French Grand Prix grid. * he's had to change an engine in practise and got demoted 10 places from wherever his time places him in qualifying later. I wonder if they'll mention the paris gig on there, lol. I'm also glad McFly are on the Tokyo one, the further away they are, the better IMO.
  8. Shame Placebo are on the French one... are sets from all the concerts being transmitted on the BBC or just London? I hope it's not just London. seems best of the foreign ones for me are; Placebo (Paris) Faithless (Berlin) Kaiser Chiefs (Philadelphia) Bon Jovi (Philadelphia) Linkin Park (Philadelphia) Bryan Adams (Barrie?) Barenaked Ladies (Barrie)
  9. Really? Rolling Eyes How are they helping you, apart from airing Live8? Do they know they are involced in your site..? back on topic Only a matter of hours to go, so what acts are you all looking forward to the most? From the London leg I'll be looking forward to Dido, Elton John, Mariah Carey (though why she's not doing the Philly one, I have no idea), Paul McCartney, Razorlight, REM, U2, Velvet Revolver.
  10. It was funnier when Spoony did it and he was being extremely competitive with Chappers.
  11. anyone else played this game yet? I bought it today and I have to say it's an improvement on '04, for a start where you had to use the analog sticks to steer in '04, you can now use the D Pad again in this one. Also I did a bit of practise on the new Turkish track and it looks like yet another interesting mix of high speed and twisty technical sections from mr Tilke (who also designed the other 3 latest additions to the calendar, Sepang, Bahrain and Shanghai.) Should make for an interesting first race like his other tracks have over the last 5-6 years. Controls seem enhanced too, and they've added in new little cutscenes into the weekend/championship modes. Also in this one you can use Eyetoy to add your face to your driver profile. I like that you can enter races etc in your own name again, a feature not present in F1 games since at least F12000 and very welcome back. *also posted on Moylesworld*
  12. I didn't hear them announce who's going? saw max sweating it a bit but wasn't really paying attention. Anyone enlighten me?
  13. ive just seen the "I survived the Brown Noise" banner
  14. Shame. Though it does mean BBLB will be bearable next week.
  15. this guy was genius tonight, claiming to be an alien and doing his own version of the '(forgotten alien species name) National Anthem' Intergalactic... I wonder what film he was promoting with that?
  16. I just find them boring and it always feels as if I've heard their show before. well I guess I'd better make the most of listening an hour before Moyles coz I won't be doing that after Nemone's gone. I'll also miss the threesome.
  17. and put them ALL up for the second vote except Saskia after she survives and chavboy gets the boot.
  18. 32p at last count and rising seemingly each month. :?
  19. we have 2 crap free ones too, one called the Express and the other i can't remember offhand. Chavs have jobs delivering them 3 days late when any 'news' that has crept onto the pages is out of date already.
  20. The Ilkeston Advertiser gets thinner after removal of car and house adverts each week, yet the price goes up with the amount of advertising... how does that work? I wouldda thought with more ads they could afford to give readers more or cut the price.
  21. Moyles' covers are usually class, and most better than the originals (esp Glen Stefani)... I also like many of the Shirehorses parodies over the original songs, even tho they covered some greats... they also did a version of Stan but in this case I prefer the Moyles one.
  22. At least this time they realise how the title could be misread, like they failed to with "Something Deep Inside" - Billie Piper. Or do they? *shrugs*
  23. hey there fish heads... you know we exist then, that's good anyways back to normal sized text...
  24. I liked eminem's earlier stuff up to around Stan better. hated Mockingbird and Toy Soldiers, at least with Stan the sample (Dido) was used well.
