My Shazam doesn't find the song but maybe yours does (you know... other speakers, other mics in your mobiles etc.)

well they have different openers but normally they have for each day one opener which they use on other days also in the show but not at the start of the show. So if I'm talking about the Monday-Opener I mean the one which is used on Mondays at 6:30 AM. Still searching the friday-one btw...

Hey everyone,
I really like the Jan Slam opener Grimmy Uses after the 8am Newsbeat where he gives the audience the key-word (e.g. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b09m1l6m#play at 1:27:15)
For pretty much all the Breakfast-Show openers they use some existing songs and just edit them, so I hope someone of you guys knows which song it is.
